The West Virginia Wesleyan College Activities Board emailed me info on the April 5 show!
On Monday, April 5, 1999 West Virginia Wesleyan College will be hosting the Grammy Award Nominated Goo Goo Dolls, with the New Radicals. The concert will begin at 9pm. Doors will not open until 8:30pm. This concert is open to the general public. Ticket pricing will be as follows: Advance Tickets: WVWC STUDENT FREE GENERAL ADMISSION $12.00 Tickets At Door: (If Supplies Last) $15.00 Tickets will go on sale this Monday, March 1, 1999 @ 8am. Tickets can be purchased at the Campus Activities Board Office, In the Campus Center of West Virginia Wesleyan College, or by calling 304-473-8104.Also, ticket info on the LaCrosse, WI (4/12) show! Tickets go on sale 3/22, and will be $20. I don't know if it's a Ticketmaster show or not, but you can call the college directly.
The pillow from the Grammy's that Rosie had signed by many artists including the Goo Goo Dolls is now on auction at eBay! Before you get your hopes up, the pillow is currently going for $4300, but you can at least see it on this link!

Also, ticket info on the Ames, IA (4/16) show! Tickets are on sale this Saturday. Only Iowa State University students can buy them, but they can buy guest tickets for their friends (1 guest/student, I believe). Tickets are $7 for students and $10 for guests.
18:11:23 - According to E!, the Brian Setzer Orchestra has beaten out the Goo's for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.
17:34:21 - Word from Collene and Lauren is that Rob Cavallo won the Grammy for Producer of the Year!

The Goo's will not be performing, but are up for Grammy's for Iris as Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal! Rob Cavallo, who produced both Iris and Dizzy Up The Girl is up for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical. The show is at 8 Eastern on CBS, and will also be webcast via www.grammy.com.

Ticket info on the Raliegh, NC (4/1) show! Tickets go on sale Friday, 2/26 at 10 am via Ticketmaster! Also, word from Creighton University is that tickets for the 4/17 show there will be sold to students only, 1 per student. If any tickets are left on 4/14, students will be allowed to purchase guest tickets.

I've heard a couple reports that the Auckland show went off well yesterday! And also, the Goo's were supposedly filiming a video for Black Balloon today!
There's a pic of the Goo's on page 16 on the Rolling Stone with Rob Zombie on the cover. This is what they say about the Goo's (Thanks, Amanda!):

The video for Dizzy should officially be released next week, probably starting with 120 Minutes on Sunday February 28th. I talked to some people that have seen the pre-release of the video and they said it is probably one of the coolest videos they have seen in a while. It plays off like a movie trailer with the Goos as the stars. It includes a car chase with them in classic Ford Mustangs also. It basically sounds like a spin-off like Beastie Boys "Sabotage" video. They are also going to make a live appearance on MTV on March 7th with Carson Daly, most likely on Total Request Live and play Dizzy live.
Amber sent info about an interview from radio station KEDJ that has an interview with the Goo's somewhere on their site! And Sara let me know that the Goo's are in Teen People for the issue of April! Mostly Johnny, but there are pictures and a huge article!

Also in print, the 2/14/99 issue of the New York Times gave a mention to the Goo's as the one to watch out for in the Best Record catagory at the Grammy's! (Thanks, Rea!)
Tickets for the Conway, AR (4/20) show will go on sale to students on 3/15 and to the public on 3/17! Students pay $10 and the public pays $15. General admission (floor) and reserved seating available. The floor is a seated area. Concert starts at 8:00 pm and doors open at 7:00 pm. (Thanks, Tonya)

The Goo's are apparently scheduled to appear on the New Zealand morning tv show called "Good Morning" Monday at 10 am.
Ticketmaster UK is reporting that there is a second Goo show in London set for March 11. This show is apparently in the same U. of London Union. However, I don't really have this confirmed, it may be a computer error. Hopefully I'll hear something soon!

I hear the Goo's will hit Germany in June! This is yet unconfirmed, but a fan reports this to be true! Also, apparently we can look for a release of the "acoustic" version of Iris in March or April in Germany. Hope this all comes true! (Thanks, Stefan)
Also, the Goo's will be on the German music channel "VIVA" on Tuesday (2/16). They'll be featured on "Override", a program where they will play live and also select videos THEY like to play! (Thanks, Caro)
The Goo's are apparently set to show on Ugly Phil's Top 30 in Australia on Thursday night! They will most likely perform something and will get interviewed by the aussie King of the Radio, Ugly Phil. (Thanks, Strider!)

07:11:10 - MTV is apparently confirming the news I brought you earlier in the week about the Goo's playing MTV's Spring Break Cruise (Thanks, Amber!). I believe the Goo's play the first night, but that's not confirmed yet. The cruise actually sails from New Orleans to Cancun, I believe. If you scroll down to What's New for 2/10/99, you will find a link to a contest you can enter to win tickets!
Word from Australia is that the Goo's will be on "Hey Hey, It's Saturday" again when they go there in about a week. I'll be sure to have a first-hand report for you all on it from the Australia Goo fans!
A new season of MTV's FANatic starts on 2/17! The Goo's aren't scheduled for the first month, but they should appear this season sometime!
E! is running a show called "The Sound of the Grammy's" that has a 3 minute interview with the Goo's. They talk about Iris and show them playing some as well! (Thanks, Rea!) It will also be shown: 2/12 at 9 pm Eastern, 2/14 at 10 pm Eastern and 2/5 at noon Eastern!
Opening for the Goo's in London will apparently be a band called "Flight 16". (Thanks Paul!) And word from Japan is that the concert went great, and apparently Robby went to Tokyo Disneyland a couple days ago!

According to allstar magazine, Mike was invited to the 5th Annual Hootie and the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament on April 12. I believe the Goo's will be in LaCrosse, and the tournament is in South Carolina, so it probably won't happen, but it's interesting anyway!

I'm hearing very strong rumors that the Goo's will play another show in Philadelphia. I believe it will be 5/7 (maybe 5/9) and most likely at the Electric Factory again, but possibly the Spectrum.
Dizzy is beginning to show up on radio stations around the nation! Let's hope for a release of the video soon!
