I understand much of where anarchists are coming
from. Crazy as it sounds, I'd say I agree with
them almost as much as I agree with modern
republicans. HOWEVER, I do believe in hierarchys
as a structure that is effective in many places
including government. I think that governments
are necessary though. Even if anarchy were
established, basic localized "governments" would
sprout up. "Leaders" would be established unless
a very concious effort was made to prevent anyone
from leading, which seems silly.
Anyways, I agree with the anarchists here in
saying that the government is 10times bigger than
it should be and private groups or individuals
should be doing about 1/3 of what the government
now concerns itself with, and another 1/3 of what
the government does probabably shouldn't even be
done in the first place.
I realize that the debate on free will is a very
open one that has existed for ages. I think it is
extreamly important what a person holds true for
themselves, but I acknowledge that neither
argument can be proven. I guess I have kind of a
scientific mind, and cause and effect fits in to
that mindset for me.
