I agree with what you said about survival but in
todays society i think survival has transformed
to selfishness for those who no longer need to
worry about survival.
This isn't always bad, it's just the way people
are, i mean what else are we going to do,
randomly select someone or something else to care
about more than ourselves? The answer for
something to care about most is simple. It's
ourself. Of course upon consideration a person
could conciously try to shift this focus of
caring to something/someone else to eliminate
their own selfishness, but i think that caring
about yourself is the natural path of the mind.
