1 October overdubs? Where do you get this stuff
from? The entire song is drenched in wah, it adds
the whole feel of the song. And if this is true
why don't you address the solo on I Don't Live
Today either? Or even the jokey Stars That Play
with Laughing Sam's Dice which was also an early
track featuring wah. I have an interview where
the interviewer even says to Jimi "You were the
first to use the wah wah pedal right?" Jimi just
laughs and says "I don't relly care, it's not
important, but we used it on my first LP for the
solo on I Don't Live Today" Jimi doesn't even
attempt to sink into the juvenile match of who
did what first.

2 Well, maybe it's personal preference, but
Clapton is just boring as hell, very mechanical.
He does shine sometimes, but the majority of his
stuff is extremely lumbering, I obviously think
he is a great guitarist, but no way the best in
any shape or form. The worst thing for me is his
tone, on all the Cream stuff he had this just
really dull muffled tone which was the same for
every song, it's really annoying.
