Seventeen Seconds

University of Canterbury Student Paper

The Cure still linger. A plug. Buy Seventeen Seconds, of all the records available at the moment, it stands triumphant. It is an album of captivating excellence. The poppiness of Three Imaginary Boys has been abandoned in favour of a more sophisticated brand of music. Songs that roll and flow ever onwards - all components locked inseparably together in uniform sublimity.

It grows and grows and emeshes itself firmly in your subconscious. Forty minutes that just won't let go. Nothing I can say could possibly describe it. It cries our to be heard and I wouldn't swap it for all the Ted Nugents, Bob Dylans, or Emotional Rescues...Wango Tango?
