Although the quality is a bit sketchy, this is a very good piece.
True cure fans will appreciate the unbelievably wonderful version of
plainsong, parce que the extremely slow pace at which it
is played. It also seems as if robert is playing the main melodic
line an octave lower than usual. The fact that same deep water as you
is on here should be enough. Search the used bins for this double vinyl
jewel. It has an aqau cover with a big ass picture on the front.

This show is on par with most UK/European Prayer Tour Boots, but as it's only about half the show, we miss out--in it's entirety, this concert would have made at least a 3LP set. Omitted were:
lullaby/close to me/let's go to bed/why can't I be you?/the holy hour/ a strange day/the figurehead/play for today/three imaginary boys/boys don't cry/10:15 saturday night/killing an arab
So you can tell this was a massive concert! Anyway, as far as this boot goes, it's a good Prayer Tour recording, well EQ-ed. The keyboards are somewhat lacking in the mix, and the bass washes out into low-end hum a lot of the time, but all in all, if you buy vinyl boots, you know the score here.
Highlights: An outstanding and aggresive "Piggy In The Mirror", an ominous "Cold", and the not-so-often performed "The Same Deep Water As You" (which has seen better renditions, but...it's here). "Disintegration" here is show-stopping, as is "Prayers For Rain" (one of the best screams ever). The pop songs and "A Forest" aren't as strong this night--as was the problem with a lot of the Prayer Tour shows, they're drowned out by the heavy Disintegration material. Worth buying for sure, as it's the only copy of this show I've seen.
