This is a date that Stiff As Toys has no set list for. It's a *very* strange concert. Robert is as animated as I've ever heard him, as far as in-between songs commentary goes. Also, note that they played "Why Can't I Be You"? here, in 1986. Robert hadn't written the lyrics yet (or not very long before), as he sings nothing coherent aside from "Why Can't I Be You?", the phrase coming up only twice. So that in and of itself is a real treat here, on a bootleg pressed in very small amount sometime in the late 80's. The title is obviously wrong--they were in Spain--and the sound quality is a very poor transfer to vinyl of an excellent-quality audeince recording. The volume on the vinyl is so low, you pick up all sorts of hideous noises in having to crank it.
Some notable inbetween bits:
Before "Piggy In The Mirror": "This is for all the bastards that kill bulls in this ring! It's called..." Before "A Strange Day": "If any of you remember this song it was from a long time ago" Before "Primary", he screams: "I WISH I KNEW WHAT YOU WERE THINKING IN THE BALCONY! This is called Primary!"
Anyway, this one will likely never resurface, which is a shame. Poor mastering aside, the performance is brilliant in its novelty.
