I think this is the same concert as the one reviewed under the title "Sydney
1980",
for various reasons (e.g. venue, date, track listing, comments by Robert etc). Possibly a
different recording, or maybe two companies have released the same material. Anyway, a
nice show, and the only bootleg I have seen covering the "Seventeen Seconds"
tour.

The quality on this bootleg is pretty
good for an old audience recording, but
it's a great set and an old tour. It's
hard to find shows from the Seventeen
Seconds tour. Good stuff! It has the
only live versions I have of 17 Seconds
and Jumping Someone Else's Train...and
I have like 30+ Cure boots, so that's
pretty good. I don't usually say this,
but if you see this, and don't have any
Cure shows pre 1984, get it!!!

I prefer a quality audience recording over a soundboard anyday. Gravedigger
certainly fits the bill. Considering it was recorded before the days of DATs, it's
phenomenal. The band puts on a really great show with a killer setlist. Don't pass this
one up.
