I bought this in London in 1994. There is no Label posted, but on CD is the mentioned catalog number.

This is definitely worth a listen since it helps to see the evolution of songs such as A Forest. The sound is pretty horrible however and once you've listened to it a few times, other Cure CD`s take its place in your CD Player.

Beyond the shitty sound quality are some great early Cure tracks. Both versions of Pillbox Tales are good and the slower droned version of The Figurehead I think is incredible. Sometimes I wish that all of Pornography would have ended up sounding like that.

It is always cool with any Cure compilation that starts out in the 70s to listen to the progression in Robert's voice. He sounds like he's about 10 in most of the songs. Submitted by: (Meagan Parrish)
