Boys Don't Cry out-take.
Drowning Man is haunting.
Other Voices is the best version I have!
Funeral Party is even more sad
Descent is one of my all time faves and really great here.
A Forest is great as usual
Killing An Arab is a good version
Faith is spectacular!
I would like to know where this was recorded and when and what members ? I have #00471 and got it at a pawn shop for $4. I've never seen another one. I recommend it to everyone.

As noted earlier, Descent is the studio version (and not a CD quality transfer).
I was surprised to see someone suggest that the version of Boys Don't Cry on this disc was spurious--it's a poor version, likely equalized from a prior vinyl boot, of the Curiosty version (the "punk" version, as it's for some reason been dubbed).
The rest of this disc, however, is an outstanding soundboard recording of the band, as far as I know in Paris 1981. It's been heavily modified--EQ'd to death if you ask me. At any rate, this version of The Drowning Man is second only to the version on The Prayer Tour boot, from France in 1989--but they'll never top that.
Other Voices is also excellent. Faith is powerfully distant, if that makes sense. What's the prettiest way to describe what non-fans would call "The most uninspired performance of all time"? In their defence, the soundboard dried things out too much to capture a song that minimal.
