The cover of this disk is a small pic of Bob onstage. This is apparently
taped from the radio. The quality is fair, it has little audience noise.
No highs or lows, sounds like its a few generations away from the original.
It sounds to me as though the recording is a bit slow at first, but seems
to pick up. The last 4 tracks are probably not from the same show, track
17 is "Happy Birthday Simon" and 18-20 are not repeats. Two good versions
of "A Forest" on this disk.
Aagh. OK. All 20 tracks ARE from the same gig, the
extra tracks are simply encores of songs they already
played in the set. The concert isn't from Brussels,
it's from Herford, Germany on 31st May 1980 (not 30th May 1980
as several existing tapes say). Yep, it's slow the
whole way through, but otherwise the sound is
quite good. I would recommend it only as a CD
to buy and run through a tape machine to speed up
to the proper speed. PS any questions on any Cure boots - mail me!
