the guitar is not johnnys, i called robby and talked to him, and he told me stuff about the new album, anyways i ask him about the guitar and he asked john and john still has it, he said john would never sell his guitars because they are a part of the history and he like to hang on to them, i gave robby the link to the ebay auction and he will pass it on to johnny. sorry guys anyways as far as the new cd you will like the song robby is working on sorry thats all i can say

um, i'm gussesing from pure observation of the bracket that holds the strings, that its from a cheaper guitar body, as the fender strats (that i can remember) have this little hole underneath where you can screw in a metal bar that allows the player to make an effect with the strings by stretching it..
