I want to say that yes, it is... I have a few pix from the dizzy tour of him with a metallic green guitar

if you look at the other other pic it has John playing that guitar.

Then again, they could've just bought the same giutar and sticker and are gonna make a mint...........

I am going to have to say YES because I only have 2 pics with him playing that guitar, but judging by the way the sticker curves, it is hard to match that, and it matches my photos pretty well.

But there is always the possibility that I am underestimating the skill of a scammer. Call me naive... I just dont want to be cynical (and beautiful?) :P

I'd rather have the whole thing, then have to get new parts for it.

Or maybe John smashed it? It doesn't look like it, though.

I asked the seller to provide more information about this guitar body. I wrote:

Damage is John's guitar tech. I don't know if this helps or not but I thought I would put it out there.

I would also ask a lot of questions if you are interested in buying it.

the guitar is not johnnys, i called robby and talked to him, and he told me stuff about the new album, anyways i ask him about the guitar and he asked john and john still has it, he said john would never sell his guitars because they are a part of the history and he like to hang on to them, i gave robby the link to the ebay auction and he will pass it on to johnny. sorry guys anyways as far as the new cd you will like the song robby is working on sorry thats all i can say

um, i'm gussesing from pure observation of the bracket that holds the strings, that its from a cheaper guitar body, as the fender strats (that i can remember) have this little hole underneath where you can screw in a metal bar that allows the player to make an effect with the strings by stretching it..
