| I live about 20 minutes north of Portland. I think it is something like a 3 hour drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. I have only been to Bar Harbor once when I was young. I would love to go again. Portland is a great little city and you should definitely try to go there. I have only spent two weeks in Maine since February. I miss it there...

As far as I understand maps, we will be very close to Onondaga Lake (fun fact - It's one of the most polluted lakes in the world! Yay!), so your odds probably aren't that outlandish.

| We always say we're going to stop there, but then by the time we get there we're so anxious to finish driving we pass it by. Every time I go to ME, I say I want to move there. But I've never been there in the winter - I think I'd better do that before making the move.
