| Thank you! And yay, Flat Top : D I love that song. You know, they did play ca. 20 songs on the two England gigs I was at. I think they did, at least.

FTS was apparently remixed, but, like you, I don't hear it. There has been nothing said about GHV2 being remastered. The older tracks probably will be remastered though, because the volume difference between old and new would be too drastic. We'll Be Here is supposedly going to be remixed. |
| I think the difference in Feel the Silence is pretty big. I much prefer the GH's version- seems like there's different layers in the recording- the voice is separate to the guitars- unlike on LLI where it just seems like one slurred track. Hard to explain, just more depth to it, and a bigger kick.

| No, remastering may take out hisses and pops or change equalizations as well so that each instrument can be heard more clearly. It's just that the older tracks will be forced to be remastered at least in respect to volume because there's a significant difference in volume between the newer stuff and older. And I just don't hear anything between the two versions of FTS. It could be that I've ripped them to evil mp3s or my crappy headphones or that I have really terrible hearing.

I read about the album today and the ****cat Dolls are collaborating on a song. Does a song really need 5 male singers and 5-6 female singers* when NONE of them are playing any instruments? Seriously, 11 singers on a track?! But OMG, I can't wait for the concert. I need to get to work on the mix tape for the drive there and back... *Read: skanks with bad extensions, stripper outfits and Auto-tune. And yes, I am proud I don't know how many members are in the group.

And you can actually hear a difference in the We'll Be Here remix!!! Things are looking up...this collection isn't quite as half-assed as predicted. And All Eyes On Me live sounds solid, so there's at least 3 worthwhile additions for most. I'll reserve judgment on if I like Iris and We'll Be Here until I hear the full songs. And it seems as if the older songs are remastered. Which means, of course, that we can go back to the eternal debate of what is being said in No Way Out. |
| I'd place money on the Iris video being edited without any COA footage, like the iTunes version. If you look on Youtube, you'll probably find it. I was shocked to discover the Iris demo was actually legit. Looking forward to hearing the whole thing. There are 'official' lyrics to No Way Out on the official site and they seem to agree with the song pretty well. But damn, seeing all of those (Album Version)s makes me want to beat my head against a wall.
