Now that they've posted even more dates for their reunion tour...who else is taking a step back in time to go see them? I'll be reliving my childhood on the evening of November 1st in Ft Lauderdale. I'm so excited!

I was so excited when they were on the Today Show. I was like, if they don't open up with old school hits I am not watching. Then follows a Step by Step and Hangin' Tough (I think) medley. What a nice surprise! I don't think I'll go see them....I didn't care for the new stuff. But I love that they are back together.

September 21st in Toronto for me! I get two reactions when I tell anyone that I'm seeing NKOTB. It's either "OMG I want to go!" or "OMG WHY?!"

Good to know I'm not the only one getting those exact reactions. LOL. My husband's cousin works for American Express, so we got presale tickets yesterday. Sitting in the 2nd row of the upper deck...good enough for me! I can't wait!

Natasha Bedingfield was added to the lineup for the tour today....I don't care for her, so I think I'll be going a little on the late side...

I went last night with two friends and we had a great time. We dressed up 80s style, made a huge play list of 80s/early 90s music for the 6 hour round trip, and just acted like idiots for the day and it was just a whole lot of fun. We had pretty awful seats (the show sold out in 2 minutes), but it wasn't that important for me to see Jordan's sweat. NKOTB were obviously having fun with it because they brought back all of the old songs and dance moves. I was a little nervous it would be one of those things were they took themselves and their new music so seriously they couldn't have fun with who they used to be. I have a copy of the new cd so I could be familiar with the new songs, but it would still be a good time without knowing the new stuff. Final note: 20,000 screaming women (we were searching for guys in the crowd to pass time before NKOTB) in an enclosed arena is really painful on the ears. This is your warning.

Just over a month to go! I can't wait! I'm glad they played & had fun with their old stuff. That's awesome! Nicole, what do you think of the new cd? I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I've listened to it a few times and I'm not quite sure if I like it or not.

It's definitely not the sweet innocent stuff of the past. My initial review to my friend was "I feel like I'm being sexually harassed just listening to this". After repeated listening, I started to get the choruses stuck in my head and could tolerate it more. Boy band type music (and 'dance' music, as iTunes labels the Block) is definitely not my preferred genre, but I could listen to it enough to know it and sing along at the concert. I secretly really really love Click, Click, Click though.
