ok...here's one....
i'll be 6 months at the end of next week!
i have 2 weeks left to find out the sex...on aug 29th...the big day of infamy here...katrina's 3rd anniversary.
the nursery is painted. hubby is putting the floor in soon.
dr. is inducing me a week early (dec. 14) cause i have high blood pressure. it's been under control for a few years now, so that's all good.
i actually lost 3 pounds at the last visit i had a few weeks ago. since i'm a big girl, it seems to be ok. dr isn't worried.
and the only thing that doesn't fit are my jeans....which is fine since it's the summer and i can wear shorts, because my stupid @$$ employer laid us all off with no notice the last day of july.
so i have plenty of time to fix up the house to get ready for the in-laws visiting in dec...but it sucks i have no job.
ethan is adorable and i check out his pic's all the time on myspace

Don't worry about being induced...hopefully you won't have the complications I had and you'll be able to deliver naturally...but beware, the contractions when you're induced are INTENSE! I was so happy when the doctor decided to go ahead with the c-section and put me out of my misery!
You must be getting anxious for the 29th to come already! Make sure you let us know the big news!
I had a couple of check-ups where I lost weight too...nothing to be concerned about unless it's a significant drop...losing a few pounds at this point is absolutely normal for us bigger girls.
what are you going to do about work? are you looking for something temporary? or are you going to be able to stay out until after baby comes along?

i'm looking for work, but 1) the market sucks here and 2) the interview i went on the guy kept telling me it would be hard for him to hire somebody that would be out for a month. said he'd call me this week to let me know.
if he doesn't call, i think i might just have to report him to the LA labor people about discrimination of a pregnant lady!
so it's just wait and see right now.

This may be the funniest damn thing I've heard all day. Granted, "all day" has so far consisted of 27 minutes, but I have low expectations for the rest of the day. We'll see what happens before tonight. XD
