I just had the awesome experience of being the second violin principal in
Jay-Z's "Hustler Symphony Orchestra", playing with ?uestlove, the
Illadelphonics, Sauce Money, Foxy Brown, and Beyonce Knowles on june 25th at
radio city music hall, and i'm going on tour with the dancer Savion Glover this
fall as a part of the show "Classical Savion." Bang post bang is defunct, but i
still play with that project's other half, JP norpoth in his band, the 76
trombones, every so often. Also, I still play with the "SQ Unit" of DBR and the
MISSION, which is a sort of classical/hip hop/rock arty crossover, and that
keeps me ridiculously busy as well. i'm also continuing to work on my thrash
metal project "the severed" every chance i get, and as soon as the album for
that is out, i can post the info here if anyone is interested in that sort of
thing.
