NEW YORK, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Paradise Music and Entertainment (Nasdaq: PDSE/PDSEW) is pleased to announce that the television special, ``Garth Brooks: Ireland and Back'', produced by Paradise subsidiary Picture Vision, won its time slot for the NBC television network with 15.7 million viewers on Wednesday, March 4th. The special helped make NBC the number one watched network that night.
All concert footage was filmed under the supervision of Jon Small, a Grammy-nominated director who has produced and directed more than 400 music videos and numerous event oriented and award winning television specials. Jon Small is Executive Vice President and Director of Paradise, and President of Picture Vision.
``Garth Brooks: Ireland and Back,'' featured footage from Brooks sell-out concerts at Dublin's Croke Park as well as behind the scenes footage shot in and around Dublin and a half-hour of songs from ``Sevens'', Brooks current hit CD, performed before a live audience in Los Angeles.
This show comes on the heels of ``Garth Brooks: Live from Central Park'' also produced by Small which secured tremendous national television ratings for HBO and broke attendance records in New York's Central Park. The video from the concert is currently the number two selling video on the Billboard Chart.
