MJI Broadcasting to Present Exclusive Garth Brooks Album Release Special; "Sevens": Live With Garth Brooks and some of his friends

NEW YORK -- Nov 17, 1997-- MJI Broadcasting will produce and broadcast a live, 90-minute Garth Brooks radio special to launch his widely anticipated new album, Sevens. The special will air over the MJI Radio Network on Monday evening, November 24, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, 8:00 p.m. Central and 6:00 p.m. Pacific, with a West Coast re-broadcast at 9:00 p.m. Pacific. The special will be made available on a non-exclusive basis to all country radio stations in the United States and Canada, and will air the evening before Garth Brooks' new album is available at record stores.

Sevens: Live With Garth Brooks and Friends will be broadcast live from a New York City studio and will be hosted by Mark McEwen of CBS' This Morning. The show will feature Garth Brooks with surprise guests interacting with a live studio audience. Garth will also answer fans' questions submitted via a toll-free 800 number, fax and a special e-mail address established by MJI Broadcasting. New songs from Sevens will be aired, some of which Garth may perform live with his friends.

www.CountryNow.com , MJI Broadcasting's Web programming service for country radio stations, will help Garth connect to his fans with a worldwide e-mail address for their questions, available throughout the week and during the broadcast Country Today Fax, MJI's leading country radio prep service, will run daily Garth Brooks Sevens updates.
