OK, but only because of that whole loving-you-forever thing that I promised way back when. 
And really, someone needs to help John find a place where he can blog to his heart's content. I'd be happy to teach him how to use wordpress/blogger/tumblr/livejournal/myspace/ANYTHING. The man's got too much to say and not enough characters to fit it all in!

Thanks for saying hi. 
Broadway was written for the Broadway-Fillmore area of Buffalo, which is where John grew up. It is now a very poor area.
Broadway is a very long road so you weren't necessarily in the area the song is about if you're sitting there saying 'Broadway isn't so bad'. Because Broadway-Fillmore is totally scary.
