I'm so happy we're encouraging Drew's lies.  At least it's a good one.  I wish I was cool enough to have climbed the pole.

And no more rerecording!  Haven't we learned from Bon Jovi?!

I think at this point what Bon Jovi would do is take the "hits" and turn them into country songs.

dang bad idea.

Would you ever forgive me if I said I like the new Bon Jovi song (the one with Memory in the title)?

I think this thread needs to be merged with the Name Change thread.

Edit:  And for the record, I think John has a really good voice for country music.  "I Don't Want to Know" and "Think About Me" have a country-ish feel to me and I kinda like it.

I totally agree! I love the new country artists and that's where they'd fit. It's rock n' roll with a country flare. I enjoy it.

Er... it was just a question, because I hate the song.  Yeah...

After all we've been through, that is what will make me dead to you?

Well...it would make me drive up to your house and take your temperature to make sure you're feeling alright.
How's that for compromise?

I'd been saying for years that the goo were somewhat country and most ppl here seemed to disagree. Then I think they had a benefits concert for the racer who died...or maybe it was just a regular country concert and the Goo's were the only non-country artist there and the redneck audience love them. If rednecks accept goo..then itz gotz to be country..hehe.

Well, I don't actually think they're country at all.  I just think that in some of their songs you can kind of hear a country twang in John's voice and it makes me wonder what he'd sound like singing something in the country genre.

I think they got into the memorial concert because of their ties with Nascar performing and being on whoever's car.  Plus, the Goos pretty much play EVERY benefit concert.  But that's rant for a different day...
