If coffee is the nectar of the Gods then Tim Horton's coffee is like crack! I can't live without it. There's one just down the street from my house. We're in there so often that they know us. And the scary thing is ... apparently Sunday nights are for Iced Cappucinos....I never realized we had a pattern. The lady who works there cleans the machine around the time we come in so she saves two for us before she cleans it It's bliss in a cup.

As for Tim Horton's ... WTF? Do they lace that stuff with cocaine or something? You wouldn't believe the friggin' nutjobs around here who hold up traffic, burning oodles of gallons of gasoline, just to wait in line to get a cup of that crap in the morning. Honestly, a cup of crap sounds more appealing ...

Actually, I don't think I will. I've never been to the US, and I know that Buffalo might not be the best place for a tourist to go to get a first impression, but I'm really into seeing how normal people live and what the normal stuff is like much more than seeing all sorts of fabulous yet false stuff. I like not feeling alienated and being a tourist is the ultimate alienation for me. And anyway, I'm damned interested in seeing the place; it's like my Mecca, I guess.
Not that I wouldn't want to go to any other American place, of course. I'd be happy with more or less everything, I just have a slightly bigger interest in seeing places I have some sort of relation to (like Maine, cause I read a lot of Stephen King books, or Buffalo, cause of the Dolls).
