My favorite was when the specimen in our lab being tested for drugs turned out to be...
Snapple Iced Tea.
As if we weren't gonna be able to tell the difference, duh.
Randomly...why is it that every time I go grocery shopping the overhead music is playing a Goo Goo Dolls song? Not that I mind, but what's wit' dat?

Oh, dude, we get these on a regular basis:
-straight alcohol (being tested for alcohol WHAT?)
-perfume
-iodine (WHAT WHAT)
-soap
-lemonade/ Mountain Dew
-bleach/ammonia
-blue water (meaning they just put the blue toilet water in the cup... because receiving a blue sample of urine isn't going to raise any red flags)
I like to pick out a favorite sample each day and follow it through the process. I usually pick a sample that is one of the above items or one that has a fun story attached to it. Pretty much every day of work is hilarious.

What is your 'clientele'? Mine is rehab patients (by force) and people on probation mostly. It leads to a more colorful experience than your average employment drug tests.

My clientele consists of patients coming through the hospital ER for various reasons, and some in-house patient situations.
I wonder what the boss would do if I came to work dressed like Abby on NCIS?
I want my Caf-Pow, and I want it now.

You guys seem to have really interesting jobs! My friend is actually at school now doing a biochem (I think that's what it is) major in hopes of becoming a toxicologist!

haha that list made me laugh. That seems like a wicked interesting job
In other news I finally gave in and put real, chemical filled, sweat resistant, sticky, disgusting, sunblock on today for the first time this summer. The organic sunscreen I had been using occasionally just wasn't working well enough in the ridiculous heat.
I generally try to avoid bug repellents and sunscreens that have ingredients I can't pronounce
