Guitarist is John's Brother???

I was at the Philadelphia show last night, and John introduced his "brother", I think he said, Brad Rzeznik on guitar....
I'm so confused, I thought John had only sisters
Anyone know what's up?

John was probably just joking about Brad being his brother. I don't know why he said that. The guitarist is not his brother, his name is Brad Furnquist (I hope I spelled that right) and John does only have sisters.

i was there last night, and he was definitely kidding. i love when he makes up stuff like that and most of the audience has no clue he's doing it. it's like a private joke for the handful of people who know what he's actually talking about.

maybe its a reference to people saying they look a lot alike. or maybe they are really close, like brothers.
