I think the point of that story was that the rich
guy gave a lot more than the old woman, but the
guy was rich enough that the money didn't mean
anything to him ... so its not how much you give,
its how much you give in proportion to how much
you have ...
So in theory, if you're a rich guy giving away
half of everything you have, Jesus probably
thinks your cool. Unless you're also a crazy
murderer or somesuch.
