and delivered and soon Em will be going into vocal training. Busy
days are ahead for Emma. After her vocal training she will be recording
the album for Sleeping Beauty followed by the filming of the movie.
Having had plenty of time to relax Emma is now looking forward to
getting started on the project.
Emma has
not only been relaxing with her time off but has also been doing
her part for some local charities. “I think it’s good to work with
local causes, because they don’t get as much attention as the big
charities”. Emma’s charity work has included doing stuff for Barnet

Mum Turns 50
Melanie C’s Mum, Joan, celebrated her 50th Birthday in Spicy style
in Liverpool. Being a singer herself, Joan has always been an inspiration
to Mel C throughout her career. Joan preformed at the party herself,
after which Mel C got up and sang followed by Mel C and Mel G singing
‘Sisters’ together. “It was excellent fun!” commented Emma who also
attended the part along with Posh Spice. What’s it like to be a
Mum, Mel G? Melanie G says that although the birth was a bit hideous,
it was brilliant to have the other girls there with her. Mel’s husband
Jimmy was also there, although he kept leaving the room because
he was a bit panicked. “He didn’t miss the moment that Phoenix was
born, luckily!”
Melanie
says that the days and nights just blend into one because because
Phoenix will sleep at about nine or ten in the morining and a bit
in the afternon but the rest of the time she’s awake! Mel G hopes
that soon everything will fall into a proper routine which will
make her life a little easier... hopefully!
What
about Victoria...
“Having a baby is fantastic” reveals an all too enthusiastic Posh
Spice. Victoria’s love for her baby and her fiance` David Beckham
is clear from the constant smile on her face these days. Being a
mother to Brooklyn is now the most important thing to Victoria.
She admits that being a mother, she tends to neglect her own health
some of the time. “If I’m feeling a bit under the weather, it doesn’t
bother me, as long as Brooklyn’s fine”

Wax-y
Spice
Emma and Victoria went to Madame Tussauds to be sculptured for a
waxwork model in late June. Emma reports that she had loads of fun
and a good laugh but staying in one position for four hours was
a killer. Emma had to bend down with her knees together while photos
were taken from every angle. Ouch! “Then they checked and matched
my eye colour and blended my skin colour,” says Baby. “I kept saying
MAKE ME BROWNER, but I don’t know if they will” Victoria comments
that the whole LONG experience was very interresting. “I’ve often
wondered how it all works”.
