WHAT'S NEW

February 16 - Posh Spice Wows The Crowd On The Catwalk
News Provided by Spice Universe
Victoria Beckham has been spicing up London Fashion Week. The singer took to the catwalk just like every other model, although she did let a smile play across her lips as she turned to face a wall of eager photographers. The wife of footballing star David Beckham, famed for her glamorous dress sense, was given the chance to model an outfit by her favourite designer, Maria Grachvogel. The singer's short spiky hair was fluffed up and she wore a tight green polo neck tank top - seemingly without a bra - with a delicate trim at the hem. She also wore an eye-catching pair of satin hot pants in a green-blue, which showed off her slimline figure and long legs.

Victoria may have looked as good as so many of the other models, but backstage she benefited from star treatment -she had her own hastily erected dressing room, and a handful of personal assistants.

Grachvogel's collection is entitled 'zingaro', meaning gypsy in Italy. Its travelling influences were apparent, with plenty of colour and a mix of fabrics with flowing lines. Victoria ended the show by re-emerging in a long, all-in-one, off-the-shoulder red dress with pink borders and trail. To whoops of delights from the crowd she showed a satisfied smiles and adopted a jaunty, Spice Girls-esque pose for the paparazzi. In the 20-minute show's grand finale she emerged first arm-in-arm, then hand-in-hand with the red-haired designer, who, in contrast to her colourfully attired models, was wearing a black turtle neck jumper and long black skirt.

Pictures are available from the picture section at Spice Universe (fashion1-2).

Geri Halliwell has spent over $6 million on an ‘Around The World In 7 Days’ promotional tour for her first solo album ‘Schizophonic’. Geri started her tour in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on April 8, then traveled to New York- USA, Tokyo- Japan, Sydney- Australia, Milan- Italy and finished off her tour back in London, UK on the 16th. Wax-y Spice
Emma and Victoria went to Madame Tussauds to be sculptured for a waxwork model in late June. Emma reports that she had loads of fun and a good laugh but staying in one position for four hours was a killer.
