Febaury 6th, 1997 was one of the best days of my life!! Looking at my email I noticed one from "Sony Canada" I opened it up and what is it? Well I just so happened to win 2 free tickets(see above) to A LIVE...EXCLUSIVE SHOW!!!! Thinking to myself it was a joke, I kinda shrugged it off!!! Later that day I recieved a call from Sony giving me the "Who, When, Where, What, and How"
My Older, but shorter brother and I went to T.O to view or 3rd (of 5)OLP concerts together. I did not know what to expect, but a kick butt show. We arrived at the Opera House, Ready to Rock!!! Olp opened with Electricty literally!
OLP Kicked the concert off with "Car Crash". The show ended with "Tommorrow Never Knows" (killer tune). Jeremy goes into a killer drum solo, that gives me chills to this day!!!
Sadly, the show ended BUT OLP was cool enough (like every single show)to hang around and chat to fans, signing autographs. This was truly a Great Show!!!
I must sat OLP is better in samll venues then larger ones!!!
Photo's from show to come later!!! King of this Roost - Greg I recently went to an Our Lady Peace concert (January 8th, 1997) It ruled I dont think it could have gotten any better, unless they played all night. The opening act, THE MONOXIDES, werent the greatest, but they really made me appreciate Our Lady Peace. Stephen Strowbridge On Sat,January 10th'98 at the Halifax metro Centre, was sooo damn cool!!I saw Our Lady Peace for the first time!!
