CARSON DALY: ....bands
of all time and one of my favorite people of all time, the guys in No
Doubt. It's great to be here with you guys tonight. And Happy New Year to
you. GWEN: Thank you, we are soo excited. CARSON: This is great, you guys! When was the last time you actually performed on TV, I mean this is like a monumenteous occasion GWEN: It has been a couple of years now, I think. CARSON: It has been a couple of years now right? GWEN: Yeah, yeah, yeah. CARSON: Are you ready for tonight Adrian? ADRIAN: Hell, yeah! CARSON: Adrian has a horrorstory to tell everybody in just a little bit. How was 1999 for you guys though in general? GWEN: I think the best thing about 1999 is that we finished our album finally, so... CARSON: Yeah, absolutely GWEN: We decided that we weren't gonna to put it out untill we thought it was the best thing that we had ever done, and uhm... so we're ready to do it in April. CARSON: Oh, killer, we can't wait to hear some of it a little bit later. ADRIAN: He Carson, can you tell those GooGoo Dolls to shut up?! [everybody laughs] CARSON: GooGoo Dolls are coming up in just bit, we need to talk to Daria. Daria, '99 has been a great year for music, where do you see music going in the year 2000? |
