01/27/00:
Fred Durst is a man in demand.
The Limp Bizkit frontman recently assumed director
duties on a new video from Staind as well as a new
clip from his band. Durst hooked up with the men of
Staind in Los Angeles last week to shoot the video for
"Home," reprising the director role he filled on the
                                      band's "Just Go" clip.
Then Durst was at it again last weekend, lensing the
video for Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff" in Los Angeles. In
addition to his Limp counterparts, Durst also corralled
Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, Staind singer Aaron
Lewis, Snoop Dogg, and Pauly Shore for the shoot,
as well as a band of extras. As we first reported last
week, the band turned to L.A. radio's KROQ to help
recruit extras for the clip, which will see fans and
friends of the band belting out the tune karaoke-style.
                                      "Some people were killer," Durst
told MTV News of the extras
                                      recruited for the video. "Some
                                      people were funny... Girls just
goin' off Dude, it was on. It was
                                      a great day.
                                      Adding to the confusion, the
                                      members of Limp Bizkit actually
swap roles in the clip, which is
                                      expected to debut sometime next
                                      month.
Durst and the rest of Limp Bizkit spoke with MTV
News on Wednesday from the Los Angeles studio
where the band has just begun work on its next
album. The group hopes to have a new record in
stores as early as this summer.
