Scorcese, Speilberg, Hitchcock...Durst?! Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is stepping up his media saturation. Adding to an already impressive rsum, Durst is set to direct Nature's Cure, a thriller based on his original concept for Warner Brothers Studios. This is not Durst's first time in the director's chair, as the outspoken singer has helmed several music videos for his band as well as clips for rockers Staind.

Limp's Durst Aids Homeless In Spirit Of The Season

Is Fred Durst one of Santa's helpers?

Probably not, but the Limp Bizkit frontman did get into the holiday spirit over the weekend, volunteering to feed the homeless in Los Angeles. Durst chipped in for four hours on Sunday and helped serve meals to the city's less fortunate.

After upping his good karma, Durst gave his vocal chops a workout by joining Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley on stage during Frehley's L.A. club gig Sunday night.

Sunday's fun was some of Durst's first Stateside action since returning from a round of European press. The band will now take a well-deserved holiday break before returning to Limp-related duties next year.

Limp Bizkit Clashes With ECW Wrestlers Onstage

For those who feared that the world of professional wrestling had not completely penetrated pop culture, we offer the following news.

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst found himself in the middle of a donnybrook involving Extreme Championship Wrestlers Steve Corino, Balls Mahoney, Axl Rotten, and New Jack onstage during a recent concert.

The band's Billionaire Pirates tour rolled into Peoria, Illinois' Civic Center on November 20, the same night that ECW was staging an event in town. Limp invited some of the ECW stars to its show, and Corino (the scourge of the ECW) accepted, running onstage during the band's performance and announcing that he'd rather see "good bands" like Carly Simon and The Bee Gees.

"You are the epitome of what's wrong with the United States of America," Corino barked at Limp frontman Durst. The singer retorted that perhaps Corino wouldn't talk so tough if Mahoney, Rotten, and New Jack were around, a cue that brought the aforementioned wrestlers out from backstage.

The ECW stars then proceeded to pummel Corino with fists, a metal chair, and a beer can as Durst held Corino's arms behind him. After Corino crashed to the ground with a bloody forehead, the band then resumed its set.

Limp's Billionaire Pirates Tour (with Method Man, Redman, and System Of A Down) wrapped up last week in Madison, Wisconsin without further incident.
