One's Rappin', Other's Nappin' Bizkit Singer Welcomes Lil' Durst

Fred Durst became the proud daddy of a 7-pound, 3-ounce boy early Thursday morning, when Dallas Durst came rollin' into the world.

Dallas may not have arrived sporting a red ball cap, but Durst says he's already taking after his dad. "He came out and said, 'Whaaasszzssuuup,' " the Limp Bizkit singer said in a statement that went on to describe the baby as healthy and beautiful.

The baby's mother was not identified. Durst has a daughter from a previous relationship; she lives in Florida.

Fred Durst Slams MTV

Fred Durst has spoken out about the lack of airplay Limp Bizkit's new video Boiler is receiving on MTV's video request show, TRL. Yesterday saw Boiler plummet from No 4 to No 8 on the TRL chart.

Speaking on the band's official website, Durst claimed Boiler dropped down the TRL chart because it was 'too dark for a lot of TV viewers.' To stop the video from falling any further the band are running an exclusive Battle For The Boiler Contest via their website. The contest gives Limp Bizkit fans the chance to vote for Boiler on TRL. The fan who votes the most times will win a day in the studio with the band, while runners-up prizes include a seven-string Ibanez guitar and several signed copies of Chocolate Starfish.

Durst describes the video on the website as a 'glimpse of a nightmare.' He goes on to say the video's dark vision says something to all Bizkit fans because, 'someone's always out to get us. By the end, the demons have surrounded us to put fear inside, but this is only fuel and we just keep on going!'

Limp Bizkit Planning Studio Audience For Next Album

Fred Durst is in LA this week and is planning the new Bizkit album saying he wants to have a studio audience when they record. "I wanna get some of you in the studio with us when we write and record this album. I'll make sure there is plenty of ways for you to get a fair chance to see the shit hit the fan" Fred said.

By Fred's account the next Bizkit album will be angry. "You should hear the fucking riffs Wes Borland is writing now!! Holy shit they are dope. He is very very angry right now. Y'all are gonna bug the hell out. I'm trippin' on this shit".

Limp Bizkit have also recorded a version of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's 'Relax'.

MTV report the song, produced by BT, will be featured on the soundtrack to the new Ben Stiller flick "Zoolander".

BT is putting together the movie soundtrack and says its more like a remix than a cover, and we will know what he means when we hear it.

It's still early days for the soundtrack with BT saying he also hopes to work with No Doubt for the project.

Freddie Say 'Relax': Limp Bizkit Remake Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Band reworks racy song for Ben Stiller's 'Zoolander.'

Freddie's already gone to Hollywood now he's taking his band to the Pleasuredome.

Limp Bizkit have recorded a version of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's sexually charged 1984 hit "Relax" for the Ben Stiller film "Zoolander."

"It is the bomb, it is so dope," said electronic artist/producer BT, who is scoring the movie, of the track last week. "It's not really a cover you'll know what I mean when you hear it. ... It's sorta like if a band did a remix."

The original "Relax," known for its "Relax, don't do it" refrain, appeared on the dance group's Welcome to the Pleasuredome and gained notoriety for its racy video and the sexual innuendoes in its lyrics. Limp Bizkit scored their breakthrough with a cover of another provocative '80s song, George Michael's "Faith."

A spokesperson for Hollywood Records said the Wiseguys' "Start the Commotion" is the only track confirmed thus far for the "Zoolander" soundtrack, due September 25.

BT said he may collaborate with No Doubt on a song for the film, in which Stiller stars as a dim fashion model caught up in international intrigue.

"The score is out of control, and this film is the funniest movie I've ever seen in my life, hands down, bar none," BT said.

The Maryland-bred Brian Transeau, who produced 'NSYNC's single "Pop," is also working on Britney Spears' next LP, as well as his own album, which he said will feature guest appearances by Peter Gabriel, Sarah McLachlan and Guns N' Roses bassist Tommy Stinson. He's eyeing a spring release.

Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit are also gearing up to record their follow-up to last year's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water.

"[Guitarist] Wes [Borland] has got some really, really, really heavy, heavy aggression side and heavy anger," Fred Durst said on Wednesday. "It feels like it's going to be a post-nuclear Pantera Vulgar Display of Power meets Pink Floyd The Wall.

"This time we're really closing the doors, man," he added later. "We're getting gritty on this one, man. This is a really emotional time. We're really happy to f---ing be doing a new record."

Durst said he hopes to work with Kenna, a Virginia singer he recently signed to his label, Flawless, and Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland on the album. Weiland contributed to both Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish.

"There are other artists I would dream to work with, but I believe those things happen if they happen, you know what I mean?" Durst said. "I just want them to happen if it's the right time, and they're feeling me and I'm feeling them and we just think it's cool to work together, not because we think we're going to have a hit."

Limp Bizkit Sued

Limp Bizkit are being sued by a paramedic who claims he suffered brain damage following a semi-riot incited by the nu-metal figureheads at a US show last year.

Christopher Dickinson, 33, has filed a lawsuit in Oakland County Circuit stating his life is in ruins following the incident at the city's Palace venue on October 29.

Dickinson claims he suffered the permanent mental scars after Bizkit frontman Fred Durst invited a stage invasion and insisted: "Security! Do not stop them!", reports the Detroit Free Press.

The lawsuit, which cites the band, their promoters and the Palace's owners, states Dickinson is now unable to work, forcing his wife to quit her job and care for him.

He explains: "I've lost my whole life in the last 10 months. I used to go fishing, hunting, spend hours on the lawn. Now, after half an hour I have to lie down".

The concert was the subject of a US TV news story about violence at live shows. In the course of filming, seconds before Dickinson was knocked over, a TV producer was trampled underfoot.
