7/31/00 - If you missed Choose or Lose 2000 on MTV last night, you can catch it again on MTV Today, Monday, July 31st at 6:30pm EDT, or Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 1st at 7:30AM EDT. Note that the latter rerun is in the morning(AM), not in the evening.

MTV used nearly all the tracks on the Dizzy Up the Girl CD, and even used Naked from A Boy Named Goo to run as background music while they were showing the segment with Johnny.

I made a couple updates to the Ticket Trade board today, adding a buyer looking for tickets to the Canfield show, and a seller looking to get rid of 2 pretty good tickets to the Nebraska show. Check it out!

7/30/00 - Tonight on MTV at 10PM ET, Choose or Lose 2000(Why Care?) will be on with John Rzeznik making an appearance. It should be pretty cool, set your VCRs for it!

7/29/00 - John Rzeznik will be on MTV's Choose or Lose 2000(Why Care?) TOMORROW at 10PM EDT! Go out and buy that blank tape you need and set up your VCRs!

I've added Angela to the AIM Directory and Jonathan to the ICQ Chat Directory. Check em out, and add em to your lists!

7/28/00 - I've totally revamped all of the chat directories so that now it is both nicer to look at and easier for me to update. I've added Donna to the AIM Chat Directory and Kev & Justin to the ICQ Chat Directory. Add 'em to your lists!

I also added a couple of entries to the Ticket Trade Board, a place where buyers and sellers can offer or ask for tickets. Check it out!

7/27/00 - Today I added Mia to both the AIM and ICQ Chat Directories. If you'd like to be added, contact me at [email protected] with your Name, Age, Location, Goo-related web site(if you have one), and your Screen Name/ICQ #.

Don't forget to contact the people that are attending the same concert as you this summer -- check out the Show Board to see who's going where. If you'd like to be added, send me an email with your Name and the Concert you'll be attending.

7/26/00 - MTV's Choose or Lose 2000(AKA "Why Care?") with an appearance by Goo Goo Dolls' vocalist/guitarist John Rzeznik will air on Sunday, July 30th at 10PM EDT(according to tvguide.com). John follows Senator Kennedy around for a day, tracking him in everything that he does. There's another related article about this that was written right after the taping was completed, if you didn't read it then. It should be a pretty cool(not to mention funny) show!

I've added Veronica and Angie to the ICQ Chat Directory and have also added Veronica(again) and Ellen to the AIM Chat Directory. Does this list ever stop growing? Add them to your lists! :)

7/24/00 - Fotini has a couple of extra tickets to the Syracuse show. They're located in Grandstand 3, Row V, Seats 18-19. If you're interested, send Fotini an email!

7/23/00 - Remember, the Goos are on MTV at 10:30/9:30pm ET/CT, very soon! Tune in and get your VCRs set up!

If you missed it tonight, the repeats of Road Home: Goo Goo Dolls will be on MTV on these dates(times are all in Eastern Time): July 23rd at 10:30pm, July 24th at 4:30pm, July 25th at 11:30pm, July 28th at 7pm, and July 29th at 3:30pm. Whew, it's almost impossible to miss it!

7/22/00 - I've added David to the ICQ Chat Directory. Add him to your lists!

Remember, the Goos are on FOX's MadTV tonight at 11pm EST in a reairing of their appearance a while ago when they played Broadway. If you haven't seen it, don't forget to tune in!

Tomorrow night, there's going to be a special on MTV at 10:30pm EST called "The Road Home: The Goo Goo Dolls." It should be a pretty good show. Set your VCRs!

7/21/00 - There's going to be a repeat of the Goos' appearance on MadTV airing tomorrow night, Saturday July 22 at 11pm EST. They play Broadway with LOTS of lights. It's pretty sweet.

The Goo's are in BLAST magazine. This is the anniversary issue(with Britney Speares on the cover). There's a great 8x10 photo inside with an interview and other little photos!

MASSIVE update to the AIM Chat Directory today! I've added Christie, Phil, Meghan, Janet and Melissa. Whew! Add them to your Goo lists!

7/19/00 - Johnny is in the July 2000 issue of Pop Star Magazine! Go grab a copy if you're so inclined.

Daizy Goo([email protected]) is looking for some tickets to the Colorado show, in the first three rows. She's willing to pay top dollar for great seats! Email her here.

Kelle([email protected]) has two tickets to the Pueblo show she needs to sell. They are located in Section 2(center stage, floor), Row F(6th row), Seats 13-14. She purchased them through a broker, so she's asking the same amount in return for what she got them for - $175 each. She will accept Paypal. You can email her here.

7/14/00 - There is an article on MTV about the Goos' upcoming summer concerts. It talks about Tonic opening for them and about where they'll be playing. Check it out!

This week, BROADWAY pushed past Macy Gray's "I try" to climb one spot to #5 on the BillBoard Charts Adult Top 40 Listings. Will this be the start of the surge to send it to #1?

If you're looking for some Goo tix, here's your chance. Sue has 2 tickets to the September 1st Essex Junction, Vermont Goo Show this summer(or fall, I should say...eek). They are in the center section, row 18, and they're next to StacyGoo(ooo, what a good selling point! <snicker>). She'll sell them for $30 or less depending on the offers. 7/13/00 - John was mentioned in the Washington Post today! He was following Senator Kennedy around the Senate for an upcoming 'Who Cares' show for MTV! Read the full article(w/photo) here.

7/12/00 - The World of Goo is totally wired! We can hunt down Goo news anywhere(or other people can do it for us)! :) Mike Malinin recently participated in the San Francisco Marathon!! He did very well, running it in 3:23:56! Check out this web site to see him listed in the final times!

I was just informed with information about a new Goo Goo Dolls special airing on MTV. It's called Road Home: The Goo Goo Dolls and it is scheduled to air on July 23, 2000 on MTV at 10:30pm Eastern. This might be the show that shows them on tour over the last year or so. It is a half hour show. Should be exciting!

7/9/00 - The episode of the Goos on Charmed where they played Broadway is airing in Australia next Tuesday at 8:30pm on channel 9(whatever network that is). If you live in Australia, here's your chance to catch the Goos when they were on Charmed!

Updates are wearing thin. Goo activity is slowing down at this point; the Goos are taking a well-deserved break from their constant touring and promotional actions to write new material.

7/4/00 - Happy 4th of July to all of our American Goo fans!!!

7/3/00 - Thanks and hi to all of you coming from googoodolls.com! Robby gave the World of Goo a wonderful greeting yesterday, so be sure to visit googoodolls.com and reply!

7/1/00 - Hard to believe it's July already. Today the official Goo Goo Dolls site was relaunched with a couple of cool new features. First off, you can write to the Goos. I'm not sure if they're going to answer every email, but if you ask me it's worth a shot. You can also check out "The Daily Goo", a section that is updated daily with news right from one of the band members. How cool! Check it out.

Alex will be taking over for me for the next 6 days, since I'll be in Canada on a fishing trip. I'll miss you guys!
