GOO GOO DOLLS TO MAKE THEIR EIGHTH APPEARANCE ON THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO THIS FRIDAY, MAY 25TH.

TWENTY-TWO SONG COLLECTION DUE IN STORES MAY 29TH.

This coming Friday, May 25th, the Goo Goo Dolls will make their eighth appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The group will perform "Two Days in February" from the Warner Bros. release, What I Learned About Ego, Opinion, Art & Commerce, due in stores May 29th. EOAC is a twenty-two song collection of remixed and remastered songs from the Goo Goo Dolls first six recordings. "Two Days in February," originally recorded in 1991 for Hold Me Up, was re-recorded for the collection and is a highlight at the group's live shows.

In July, the Goo Goo Dolls will enter a Los Angeles studio with producer Rob Cavallo (Dizzy Up the Girl) to record their seventh album, featuring all new material. A release date has not yet been scheduled.

5/21/01 - The Goo Goo Dolls will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this FRIDAY, May 25th at the normal airing time for each viewing area. This show is NOT a rerun; it'll be a brand spankin' new appearance for the Goos.

They will be playing Two Days In February, which will also be found on their new compilation album "Ego, Opinion, Art & Commerce." The Goos in fact re-recorded Two Days in February for the compilation album, since as you may know, it was origionally recorded outdoors near a busy street.

The Goos have yet to decide whether or not Two Days In February will become a single or if they will make a music video for it. I personally have received a preview copy of EOAC; I was astounded at how good this song sounded.
