Edgefest
Dallas, TX

Although the Goo Goo Dolls were not the headlining act at Edgefest,
they should should have been as they played to a standing sold out crowd
at Starplex in Dallas.
Rzeznick and company delivered a flawless performance getting the crowd
pumped with Dizzy. Once they took the stage, it was obvious that the
crowd was in for a great show.
GGD delivered many songs from Dizzy Up the Girl, including Slide, Black
Balloon and Broadway.
What was a great surprise of the evening was some of the older songs
that were played such as Long Way Down and Naked.
"This is a song I just wrote today and you all are the first to here
it," with that said from Rzeznick, GGD broke into the final song of the
evening, Iris. Although, all of us had been exposed to it so much, you
couldn't help love it live. The crowd was into it and lighters flickered
every where.
With that the Goo Goo Dolls left the stage and Rzeznick smashed all
four of guitars, this only pleased the audience even more.
The Goo Goo Dolls were on the top of their game, proving that they
indeed will be the band of the millenium.
