WHAT A SHOW!!!
I expected a great show, but this was WAY out of the expected!!! The venue was small, and the people were packed in tightly. Athaneum got us all fired up, and then came the Goos!! There set list was great. They opened with DIZZY, and followed with:
LONG WAY DOWN
LAZY EYE
SLIDE
BLACK BALLOON
BULLET PROOF
NAKED
NAME
JANUARY FRIEND
FALLIN' DOWN
FULL FOREVER
BROADWAY
FLAT TOP
IRIS
They then left stage, and came backout for:
THERE YOU ARE
HATE THIS PLACE
and finally, TWO DAYS IN FEBRUARY.

Every note of every song was fantastic! The stage was simplistic, and the lights were great. John's voice and guitar rang out throw the venue like no others I have ever heard. Robby, whom was not wearing shoes, rocked out even with a case of laringitis. Mike blew me away with his drumming, and the two accompanying guys kthe pace in awesome Goo fashion.

Throughout the show, there were great highlights. A few were John telling his story about how he wrote NAME, how he didn't really like it, but the record company wanted to put it on the album as a filler, then how it made them big, and how he got a leter in response to it that read:

Dear Faggot,
Your song fucking sucks, you sold out.
                         Signed,
                       Punk Rock Boy

It was hillarious.

During NAME, when John had a girl come on stgae to sing with him, she wouldn't do it, and the crowd didn't like that very much, but John sang on, and wrapped up the song.

It was the best show I have ever been to, and I have been to soem great shows!

I loved every minute of it, and I can't wait for next time.

The highlight of my evening was getting not ONE, btu TWO set lists, AND JOHN'S AUTOGRAPH on the cover of DIZZY!!!
