Everything’s Coming Up Irises For The Goo Goo Dolls

The Goo Goo Dolls are working hard on their 6th studio album, "Dizzy Up
The Girl" (due September 22nd), and though no track listing is available
yet, we did find out that keyboardist Benmont Tench (of Tom Petty & The
Heartbreakers fame) and guitarist Tommy Keene make guest appearances on
the album.  In other Goo news, the band will make a late night
appearance on the David Letterman show on July 28th (they’ll perform
"Iris"), and have planned a special concert in their Buffalo, New York
hometown on August 15th.  Part of the proceeds from the Buffalo show
will benefit Compass House (a local youth service center providing
counseling and shelter to runaways).  A full-blown Goo tour is in the
works and we’ll give you dates and venues as soon as they become
available.
