Hi,
    I'm a new fan of the Goo Goo Dolls. I just started liking them
after I heard "iris". so I just wanted to know from u all time fans of
the goo goo dolls, what is the lead singer's name? he's pretty cute
and I wanted to look up some info about him. not meaning to see if
he's single.. :o) I mean to read stuff about him. thanks!!! :o)

The Goos are Johnny Rzeznik (lead singer and guitarist), Robby Takac (bass) and
Mike Malinin (drums).  Check out the Johnny bio page on my website for more

No offense to you ladies out there but it really sucks to hear the band
reduced to some teeny bop bubblegum fan club, based upon how cute they
are.  If they looked like Marilyn Manson would you be here?  I don't mean
to be harsh but I guess it makes me feel too old to be here when things
get reduced to tiger beat magazine type rantings.

Ed,
I am a girl, but the reason I like the goo's is for their music.  I've
hardly ever seen them except for pictures on websites, Iris video once, and a
couple of TV performances.  Even still, I don't think it's right for anyone to
blame some one else's reasons for liking a band.  I mean, who am I or you to
tell anyone what band to like and why?

Ed, I think alot of us are old enough to be  past the "teeny bob bubblegum"
stage, and if not, who cares.  If it helps to sell more records,  then that 
helps out the band.  Nothing wrong with admiring the band for their talent AND 
their appearance, IMO.
