Hey,

I don't quite know what I've said about all this stuff reguarding John's
looks and newer fans and what-not...I've tried to stay out of it lately
and now I cannot remember what I've said in the first place. I also do
not remember who half of you are yet, being fairly new to the newsgroup
myself, and silly me just wiped out my entire newsgroup folder so I do
not know who said what.....Anyway, I just want to say this;

I have not been a fan since 86 like some of you. I'm sorry. Do you want
to know my
excuse? I WAS FOUR YEARS OLD in 1986. "Name" is what introduced me to,
IMO, the best band in the world. I got ABNG and worked my way back. Does
it make me any less of a fan? No. Am I just another stupid-teenage-spice
girl wannabe-air head? I don't think so. And yes, I think John is good
looking. So is the guy in my economy class--he also
happens to be the biggest turd I've ever met. Looks dont mean jack, the
music is what makes the fans, and if "Iris" can introduce people to this
band than that is awesome. So I think everyone should leave Heather
alone. So what if she hasnt heard all the GGD's material. She could very
well go back and buy all the albums and love them all and become a
massive die-hard fan. Give her a break. I also realize that its a pain
to hear the same questions over and over, like "who's the cute guy" but
if people thought the song sucked they wouldn't be here in the first
place. They wouldn't waste their time. We are all here for one
reason--we love the goo goo dolls...some of us may have shown up later
than others, but we are still here.
