The Goos just entered the #8 spot on Caseys Top 40 (yippee) But instead
of saying "that was the Goo Goo Dolls" Casey goes "that was Johnny
Rzeznik & the Goo Goo Dolls". I have no idea why, but that made me soooo
mad. They used to do that to No Doubt ALL the time "that was Gwen
Stefani & No Doubt." I hated that so much becasue Tony and Tom and
Adrian had just as much to do with that band as Gwen, but since she was
the eye candy they singled her out and made the others second rate. They
better not make Mike and Rob just 2 guys backing up John, or I am gonna
freak.

Yeah, Heidi, they did this all the time with No Doubt and it caused problems. 
The Goos may be more mature about it, but personally I agree with you.  It
takes a lot of hard work by more than one person to make a good band.  

We fans call them Goos, etc, but I prefer it when my radio guys call them the
Goo Goo Dolls.  Not, the Goos, and not the Goo Goos. No wonder people don't
know who they are! My local radio guy even announced that they were working
hard on their SECOND album!!!  Man, I wish they'd get the facts straight before
they say it on the air!!!

I'm sure that the bio casem was reading from said something to the effect that
johnny wrote the song based loosely upon his interpretation of the film blah blah
blah and because he is credited with sole writing credits for the song, they
marquee his name because they're too lame to know the history of the band and too
freakin lazy to look it up.

I agree with heidi, this could become a problem, either the other guys
could get pissed or Johnny could get a big head and try some kind of
solo career. Have you seen the video for Lazy Eye? It's all about
showing Johnny throughout most of it, and that's not a good sign. Just
like when they were on 90210 it was all about Johnny then too! LOOK
OUT!!!

Hey Ryan, I have to agree about the Lazy Eye video thing.  I was also kind of
disappointed with the Iris video (I've only seen it once!!) cause it was
mostly Johnny...I mean, I know he wrote it and all, but they could have shown
Mike and Robby a little more.  I hope that Robby doesn't feel bad about all
of this....cause Robby rules too. Karen

  I definitely agree!!!  I love both of the videos, of course cuz they are Goo,
but I would like to see all the band members shown a little more.
