My friend Joe Bacchus pointed out that the Dolls' new song, "Iris"

may be a reference to the Jodie Foster character in the film "Taxi Driver"

with Robert DeNiro

He listened to the chorus of the song and the Dolls may be singing

the song from DeNiro's point of view about Jodie

I highly doubt it. John wrote the song from Nicolas Cage's point of

view about Meg Ryan from the movie.
