Is it just me, or is Nathan December HOT!  Does anyone know what's up with

him?  Has he ever recorded with the goo's on one of their previous albums?

Did he record with them on the new album, etc., etc.

Yep, I have to agree on this one. :)))



Someone said he used to be in a band with Mike.  Is that correct?  I've never

heard of him or seen him before until "Iris" came out so I don't think he is on

any of their other recordings.



Good question.  Did he record "Iris" with them or is he just playing the live

shows?

Nathan December was the singer for Mike's last band Careless. He has

never, AFAIK, recorded with the Goos on any previous albums, or at all

on a formal basis at least.



He did not record Iris with them, as the mandolin part is credited to

Tim Pierce. However, he is playing live shows, as he has before. On

their last Leno appearance, he played "Name" with the guys.



He seems like a great guy, and any friend of the Goos is a friend of

ours, eh? :)

Oh, and a little more on him. Nathan also toured with REM on the

Monster tour as a rhythm guitarist, and is currently in a band called

Holy Bulls, who have only released one song so far, on the Iggy Pop

Tribute Album.
