From zipdrive@iname.com Wed Apr 29 00:37:53 1998 What more can I say? Other than Richard Simmons is a *little* wierd?!?! Karen lavalamp23@iname.com From ptmcnee@aol.com Wed Apr 29 06:38:09 1998 I had Leno on, but didn't actually look until the Goo's came on. Richard Simmons IS a bit much. Anyway, Johnny looked great although he sounded a little hoarse or something. But overall, I loved it!! :)) Theresa From zipdrive@iname.com Wed Apr 29 13:27:27 1998 Why is it that everything I say comes out wrong? That should have read, "I took a shower and actually didn't turn it on until about 12.20am." One of my friends was laughing at me cause it sounded like I never take a shower. I was just trying to make the point that I didn't even see Richard SImmons except for the credits, and I could tell he was acting strange. Karen From bc154@FreeNet.Carleton.CA Thu Apr 30 11:17:12 1998 LOL! I had the best laugh I've had in a couple of days when I read this. "I actually took a shower!" Oh, man, that cracked me up. Thanks. :) -Dan S. From ptmcnee@aol.com Wed Apr 29 18:38:01 1998 Dan, How did I miss that???!!!!! LOL!! Geez, I watched it two more times on the tape too, but didn't notice the no-shoes! Maybe because that is so normal for adorable Robby! :) Theresa From bc154@FreeNet.Carleton.CA Thu Apr 30 11:11:58 1998 Well, I really only noticed because I heard (I think from Fabfay) that Robby actually wore shoes when they were on Rosie O'Donnell. I thought perhaps that Robby had changed his ways. But no, we see now that he's the same old Robby. Goo Forever! -Dan S. From ptmcnee@aol.com Wed Apr 29 18:48:16 1998 Hey Eric, Welcome to the ng! Gosh, there are suddenly lots of new Goo people here, which is very cool. :) Welcome all the new Goo fans. Did you happen to see the Goos at the Champaign show with Bush and No Doubt a few years ago? It was sold out, and I think most of the crowd was there to see Bush, however, when the Goo's came out they definitely got the crowds attention! Everyone seemed to love them. I remember a show a few years ago in Milwaukee. It was at an outdoor festival (not summerfest, but the Bud fest or something else) Anyway, the Goo's were supposed to hit the stage at 8pm I think, but they had to fly out to LA for another show that same night, so they ended up getting bumped up to the 5pm time slot. This was a weeknight, so of course hardly anyone was there when the Goo's started, but it was still a great show. There were probably only about 25 or 30 people in the crowd that night too, and this was only 2 or 3 years ago, but the Goo's played their hearts out. I didn't matter to them if 2 people were in the crowd or 20,000. I'm glad we got to the show extra early that night. :)) Theresa
