Subject: Whatever happened to Artie? From: Phil Schrader Date: 1997/02/16 Message-ID: <3307B9A9.4CDF@geocities.com> Newsgroups: alt.music.goo-goo-dolls [More Headers] Does anyone know whatever happened to Artie their Manager? He was a cool guy. They also wrote a song about him on "jed". At the end of the song there's a recording of his voice, it says: "Don't do anything irrational " and then I can't make out the next part. Does anyone know? I remember seeing him when the Goo's were in Chicago with The Muffs, maybe a couple of years ago, and that night was Artie's last night. He told us that he was leaving the Goo's and going to work for The Muffs, evidently more money, etc and thought it was a better opportunity. Not sure if he is still with them now or not. He was a really nice guy. The Goo's current manager is really great though. Almost like a guardian, keeping the guys in line and making sure they are where they are supposed to be, etc. Theresa From: ptmcnee@aol.com (Ptmcnee) Date: 1997/02/18 Message-ID: <19970218041001.XAA28262@ladder01.news.aol.com> Newsgroups: alt.music.goo-goo-dolls [More Headers] Here is the REAL story about Artie. Disregard the last message about Artie working for the Muff's. Sorry about that. This info is from Sarah P, srp3@acsu.buffalo.edu Artie works in Buffalo, along with Marcel (another good, personal friend of the band) at this production company. They are called Delsner/Slater Ent. They bring a lot of big shows to the Buffalo area including all the Dolls' shows. They used to be called Funtime Productions before the merger. Theresa
