Subject: So what exactly is this all about? From: christoa@aol.com (ChristoA) Date: 1997/02/11 Message-ID: <19970211052001.AAA11654@ladder01.news.aol.com> Newsgroups: alt.music.goo-goo-dolls [More Headers] So nobody has anything thing that could be of valuable information for this newsgroup? So are the Goo's back in the studio or what? One thing I would like to see is a live album by the Goos. None of this Boy named Goo stuff.....I mean real hard core, 3 chord trash!!! Best thing to happen in the music scene although not too new...Chuck Biscuits joing Social Distortion!!! What's the fascination with Dishwalla???? They couldn't have more stage presence if it bit them in the butt.... Greatest all time Goo show: The Lemonheads, Goo Goo Dolls and Soul Asylum...at the Palace in Hollywood...I believe it was in '91 or '92. I haven't heard anything about them recording yet. I don't remember them touring with the Lemonheads though.... I also saw the Goo's when they toured with the Muffs. I even got to meet the members of the Muffs, and I am sorry, but the Muffs had to be the WORST band I've ever seen. Nothing but noise and screaming. I think they are still around, believe it or not, but only 1 Muff remaining in the band. Hopefully the Goo's don't tour with them again. They toured last summer with the Goo Goo Dolls and during interviews, etc they have been talking about what a great time they had with the Goo's. I do wish the Goo Goo Dolls were touring soon since the Goo's are my all time fave band and I can never get enough Goo. As far as "stage presence", I think Dishwalla puts on a great live show. Not real flashy, but then they don't need that since they have a singer who can really sing....... Theresa
