I'm new to this newsgroup.  I think that the Goo Goo Dolls are awesome. 
Let me tell you what I think of this newgroup as the way I see it now.

This newsgroup is, well, kinda sucky.  There's NO traffic whatsoever.  How
many people are subscribed to this newsgroup?  Is it just me?  We need
more people here.  In order for that to happen, we need to cross-post.

One more thing.  The noise level here sucks.  All that I read here is "The
Goos are so awesome!!"  "My favorite song is ..."  C'mon!  This is boring.
 We need some controversy here.

Okay, now I'm done ranting.  Now, I'm not saying that the Goos suck.  In
fact, they are my favorite group.  This newsgroup sucks.  

Back to the controversial thing, let me start a controversy.  I tell my
friends that the Goo Goo Dolls are soooo cool and awesome.  And all they
is, "They're gay."  This makes me think.  Are Robby and John having a
homosexual affair???

Let the flames begin...

(I hope that this will make this newsgroup a little more exciting.)

Well, you wanted flames, you got it.  Johnny and Robby are NOT, I repeat,
NOT having an affair.  They are far from gay!  So there.

You are right, we need more traffic in this newsgroup, so tell all of your
friends to check this out.  They will learn that these guys are cool.  If
they went to one of their shows and met them they would change their minds
and they would be a goo fan forever.  And they would go out and buy all of
their Goo records.  Be more assertive and convince your friends.  Even my
stuffy, starched shirt boss went out and bought A Boy Named Goo, AND LIKES
IT!!!  

A Club Named Goo is going to publish this web site in the next newsletter
so we should have more traffic soon.  Don't give up.

To other fellow Goo fans: Don't get me wrong.  I love the Goo Goo Dolls. 
It's just that this newsgroup sucks, and you get tired to reading stuff
like "My favorite song is 'Long Way Down.'"

I made a proposal to invite more traffic into this newsgroup, and this is
by cross-posting, and also you can go to other alt.music groups and invite
them to come to this newsgroup.

What I'm trying to get is this, the Goo Goo Dolls need more recognition,
and we are the chosen ones to do it.
