In order for a list this big to work without conflict, EVERYONE must make some sacrifices and compromises. What we're all asking of you and everyone else who uses this right as an excuse to write 100 e-mails about John's love life, is to compromise by leaving these thoughts for discussion in a chatroom or message board or another list that actually cares. I've been so nice about this since all this shitty discussion started a year ago when the Goos got famous beyond control and everyone started caring. After some investigating I found out how rare and how costly it is. Most archives are only two monrths back and air time is on the average $50 a hour and tv can be $100 for only 5 minutes. Also you know if you are asking for this stuff this close to x-mas, there is almost no way for the mail to get to you that fast. The US Postal Service is bogged down with with literalty tonz of x-mas cards and gifts, if you are planning on mailing anything, they had a deadline for the mail to be sent by so the reciever could get it before x-mas. Much of what is on the main goo list are two people's discussions about something none of the rest of us know about. Please don't do this anymore! Send comments to the people who wrote the message...not 200 others. I delete a lot of interesting mails simply because no one changes the subject heading and I assume it's the same conversation. (This is a pet peeve, when you start writing about something else...change the subject so we know it's new!) The TTB list could take care of a lot of this if people would take a few short minutes to join it and e-mail any and all questions/comments on non-big-goo-news. I consider concert reviews, reviews, press releases, music questions or info, contests, discussions about music/appearances or news about when the guys are on TV or in print important....everything else (including this aggravating age argument deal) just starts getting into gossip and speculation. Good for those who want it, totally sadistic for those who don't. Point is...things should be fun and interesting....no one should leave this list simply because it is too time-consuming to sort through what's cool and what's just...fluff.
