First I bought Dizzy, then Boy Named Goo, then recently I was shopping and came across 1 copy each of Superstar Car Wash and Hold me up so I thought "Merry Christmas to me". I gotta tell ya.... they are really good. I almost prefer some of that old stuff.. it's harder.. a bit edgier. Some of my favorite tunes are not the singles. The comedian guy made a point at the end of the show to say Eddie was not nominated cuz he "doesn't play well with others". First, Not sure why we have to keep posting the rules, but one of the Goo mailing lists guidelines to follow is, ask yourself if the information if pertinant to the list. Oogling and oggling about Johnny on a tv show does not constitute as a worthwhile post. It would be acceptable if there was information included with it though. Could we please follow this guideline so we could stop the 30 a day, "Johnny looked so good with his aqua color shades, his nails painted black, and his shaggy doo." There is a lot of people on the list right now, we are trying to make it as enjoyable as possible. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone once again or trying to come across as a bad guy, just enforcing the policies of the list that Bryan owns and have been in effect ever since he has owned it. After the Goo shows in Buffalo were done, they got to hang out in the area for a little while. BobCat Goldwait was in town doing some comedy at a local club. Robby, Dave, and some others went to see him. Bobcat ribbed the heck out of Dave for TaxiCab Confessions. The guys were sitting right next to the stage for the show. From the people that told me about it, it was hilarious. The sad part is that I was going to see Bobcat too, but never ended up going. He's one of my favorite comedians. Well, normally I don't post on this type of stuff, but recently this list has been outrageous, and I almost found it an annoyance to read my mail everyday. (Imagine that, my favorite band's list becoming annoying, lol!) So, I thought this might be helpful to all of the annoyed Goo fans out there. Ok, I'm on another list for a band called Guster (email me if you've heard of them/like them, cause so far no one I know have even heard of them :( lol) and they used to have problems like this all of the time, and they have a LOT more people then this list, so it was almost impossible to keep up with all of the mail. So, they came up with the NGC emails, or basically the No Guster Content emails. It helped eliminate a lot of emails that no one wanted to read, and made it easier to check the important emails. SO, what I am suggesting is that we establish this on our own little list. (We don't have to, it's just a suggestion :) Now just because this could make finding important emails easier, it doesn't mean that we can still go wild and send hundreds of emails using the NGC-emailing method (No Goo Content). It's still up to the person writing/sending the email to use their better judgment and determine whether the email is important/necessary. In the case that you do want to send something with little to no Goo info in it, then give it a subject like the following: "NGC-Does anyone have anything to trade?" or "NGC-Steph you haven't email me, please contact me" Now if people want to use this, PLEASE remember that it is NOT an excuse to send extra mail or the same amount of junk mail to the list. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, use your BEST judgement before you send your emails! If anyone wants to reply about this please send it to ME (HeatherK85@aol.com), and not the list! Now for my Goo content. To the people that got the Mp3 CD, is it worth it?
