Yes, a new passport runs about $60.00. You need your birth certificate, 2 passport photo's and a passport application. Yes, it takes about 4-6 weeks for the post office to process it. **If you want it quickly, you can use a visa service to expedite your passport application and often times get it back within a week. The visa service is costly! Add on an extra $100.00 or so. If you are interested, you can go to www.travisa.com or e-mail them at questions@travisa.com. Another hint to expediting your passport is having a travel agent print you an itinerary showing you are booked on flights on a certain upcoming date (just for the purpose of rushing the passport, don't buy the tickets!). The passport office does prioritize by departure date. So, in summary,, you can get a passport very quickly if necessary but it will cost you just under $200.00 total. Good luck to everyone entering! First, in reference to "Stand Alone" If you don't know the story, it was a song originally planned for A Boy Named Goo, but, because it was co-written by George, it was left off at the last moment. A very few number of pre-release promo cds and cassettes were sent out, containing the song. It is a mid tempo Robbie song. When I first got the pre-release, it was one of my favorite songs on A Boy Named Goo, and was very surprised (and happy!) that it did not make the final release. Since the song is out of print, and doubtfully will ever be available again, I've encoded it as an MP3 (160/44/stereo). You can go to http://www.netaddress.com to download it. Use logon of Stand-Alone and music for the password. Please don't delete it after you've downloaded it, so everyone who wants it, can download it at their convenience. Now, as for the How The Juice Stole X-Mas cassette that I mentioned earlier. . .I've still got it. . .and, it is still up for trade. . here is what I am looking for: City of Angels Academy Nomination Consideration promo CDr WHFS 99.1 FM Just Passin' Thru compilation Also, there is the Star 98.7 CD that is about to come out. . .if that indeed does have an unreleased version of "Slide" I'd trade for that. Other than those three. . well, surprise me. . .I am always interested in imports and promos (and, better, import promos!) that I don't know about, and local releases (such as the WHFS and Star 98.7 CDs) that have stuff that I don't already have. What I am NOT interested in is magazines, videos, bootlegs, taped copies. . etc etc. . .I am only interested in original, official releases. I know my list of stuff that I am looking for is pretty short, but, I've been collecting goo for a LONG time now, so, I have pretty much everything else that I am interested in! Perhaps if you don't have one of the above items, you can trade someone else for something that you do have, then, in turn, trade me! Also, I am not interested in selling the cassette. I'd much rather hold on to it, until someone does have something that I don't have, so I can trade for it. I'm not an idiot though, if you want to make me an obscene offer (errr, that sounded bad. . .LOL!! I meant $$ you perverts!), go right ahead, ya never know. As for making cassette copies of this for people, well, sorry, no can do. I do not have the ability to make cassette to cassette copies (the How the Juice Stole X-Mas was a cassette ONLY release). One of these days, when I have enough to fill two CDs, I am going to make a rarities compilation, that will be made available to the list (yeah, I know I said that before, but, hell, Im lazy, and the guys keep putting out more stuff!), and, of course, "Silent Night" will be on that. As always, if anyone has any questions, feel free to e-mail me, or. better. AOL IM me ( I'm Twister Arcade ). . .I'm terrible at returning emails! Have a great Thanksgiving, everyone! Could I be any more mad?????? here's some more bad news: if they call you to tell you that you win and you're not home, they give the prize to someone else. the date they're planning on calling is (believe it or not) DECEMBER 3RD! So all the goo fans at the concert are probably out, too. here's some good news for west coasters: MTV will pick people from east coast AND west coast. but that doesn't help me. for those of you (like me) who aren't quite 18, since the winner is permitted one guest, find an older sibling, or even a parent, because then maybe you can be their guest. and you can enter like 2 bajillion times over the course of 2 hours, so true fans are more likely to win than people trying on a whim. and hey, if anyone over 18 wins and doesn't have a guest to take, *ahem* I'M AVAILABLE!!! I'll love you forever and ever and ever! here are the complete rules, taken from the MTV website: OFFICIAL RULES 1.No Purchase Necessary. 2.To enter: tune in to MTV's "Total Request Live" program on November 29, 1999 from 3:30 p.m. (ET/PT) to 5:00 p.m. (ET/PT). During the show, 800 # and online entry information will be revealed, promoting MTV's "Fly2k" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes"). Call the special 800# when it is revealed, and the first 1,000 eligible callers (500 east coast, 500 west coast) ("Eligible Callers"), will be entered in the Sweepstakes. Or go online to the special Web site when it is revealed and complete the entry page. All eligible entries received online will be entered in the Sweepstakes. Eligible Callers and eligible entries received online will collectively be referred to herein as "Eligible Entries". 3.You may enter as often as you wish but may win only one prize. No responsibility is assumed for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by the caller or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries to this Sweepstakes. MTV Networks and MTVN Online L.P. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including modification or cancellation of the Fly2k trip in part or in its entirety, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of MTVN which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, MTVN reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Entries that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event of a dispute over who submitted a winning entry online, the holder of the winning e-mail account will be declared the winner. 4.Sweepstakes commences on November 29, 1999 at 3:30 PM (ET/PT) and ends on November 29, 1999 at 5:30 PM (ET/PT). All entries must be received by 5:30 PM (ET/PT) on November 29, 1999. 5.Ten (10) Grand Prize Winner packages will be awarded. The Grand Prize Winners will be chosen at random by an independent judging organization on or about December 3, 1999 from among all Eligible Entries. If any Grand Prize Winner is unreachable during the hour in which he or she is called (no messages will be left on answering machines) or is unavailable for the prize fulfillment during the dates and times specified by MTVN or does not comply with the Sweepstakes rules and regulations, the Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified as the Grand Prize Winner of MTV's "Fly2k" Sweepstakes and all privileges as the Grand Prize Winner will immediately be terminated. An alternate winner may be selected instead from all remaining eligible entries. 6.Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible entries received. 7.The concept of this Sweepstakes and the prizes to be awarded are as follows: MTV's "Fly2k" Sweepstakes will award ten (10) Grand Prize packages. Then I got my copies of Fanatic and Loveline. Thanks you guys! Ok now to gooey info..... I was wondering if anybody (this is kind of an impossible question) knew if they will have the Beanie HATS(!!!) at the buffalo shows. I have someone willing to get me one I just would like to know if they will have them so I don't end up sending $20 back and forth....and one more thing I was watching an ad for some cd with different artists on it and Cake was on it and they showed a clip from the video. Anyway the singer of Cake reminds me of the lead guy (i don't know their name, could someone clue me in?) in tonic. Well e-mail me with your answers. Bye! I admit... however me and some of my ambassadors did a bunch of research and made a lot of phone calls to check on the validity. We called James (the person selling the invites), Mark Brown (from Empire Entertainment cuz his name is on the invitation too) and the address that the payment needs to be sent to is in times square. not a po box or an address in NJ but it is in times square. I have a copy of the invite along with all the info on the loft party... He faxed all of it upon request and has answered every question that I have had without any confusion or mix up. It seems legit to me.. but here are some precautions I am taking... 1. Im sending a personal check 2. Im sending it fed ex (so someone has to sign for it) 3. I have addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers etc Also we our sending our money together (me and my bud) so we know that we can take care of a situation if it comes up. Its a chance I am willing to take If you want more info please note that the price I gave was the price he gave me... alot of people have called and got higher prices (but If I was him I would try to make more too, its worth it) And if you don't know if you can go please find that out first... you would have to send payment soon and make sure you can get to NY. If its unlikely you can do this it would be a waste of time for them... I am not selling these I just wanted to know if anyone was interested, seriously, I am going and I would like to party with all the Goo fans possible. also the band is supposed to make an appearance but no one can guarantee this... not even the band. However, no one has promised me that which is one reason why I trust it is real... otherwise he wouldhave tried to scam me by saying... and the goo goo dolls will be there for hours afterwards etc. Now if he scamming me why would he have been so careful about guaranteeing that? and besides if you dont get to meet them you still get to see them perform up close in TS on NY! If you are in MI, OH, PA, or NJ and want to carpool I will be happy to help out. Otherwise all I am going to do now is give serious inquiries his information so that you can find out the details on your own. The once-in-a-lifetime auction of limited-edition boxes of Millenios - the "Official Cereal of the Millennium" - is coming to a close with some of the best boxes that we saved for last. Autographed boxes of Millenios signed by some of the hottest stars will go on auction Sunday, November 28 at http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/millenios/. The final boxes include Janet Jackson; Kevin Spacey; Courtney Cox; Lisa Kudrow; Cuba Gooding, Jr.; Mel Brooks; Bonnie Raitt; Hanson; Rachel Leigh Cook; Steve Young; Billy Joel; Kathy Bates; John Goodman; Reggie Jackson; Susan Sarandon - and a special box signed by Donny and Marie Osmond. Dick Clark, spokesperson for Millenios, will appear on "The Donny and Marie Show" on Monday, November 29. The first 20 boxes, which included Katie Courac, Oprah Winfrey and the Goo Goo Dolls, were introduced on eBay following the Millenios countdown event in Times Square on September 8, 1999. Since then, Cheerios, maker of Millenios, has posted over 160 celebrity-signed boxes. All of the proceeds from this special auction, including an initial $25,000 donation from General Mills, will benefit local chapters of Big Brothers and Big Sisters (BBBS). BBBS is an organization that provides one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and children at risk. BBBS currently serves more than 100,000 children and youth in 500 agencies across the United States. Millenios is a limited-edition cereal from General Mills created to celebrate the new millennium. Consumers looking to purchase their own (unsigned) box of Millenios will find it at grocery stores now. General Mills expects this once-in-a-lifetime cereal to be sold out by January 2000.
