Message-ID: <0.4a7ea024.25510843@aol.com> hi, i just talked to my family over dinner about the whole discussion going on on this list w/ the private list charity concert. as i suspected my mom is very reluctant to let me go. i am 17. but i just thought of a solution that MIGHT help, for some of the other minors on this list. when (or if) this concert actually gets more organized and looks like it will actually happen for sure, then some of the older responsible "grown up" fans can send an email to the list specifically addressed to the minors' parents, saying that you would love to be the "responsible adult chaperone" or whatever and how u plan to make sure we youngins won't get into any trouble, lol just an idea.....don't anybody start posting these emails yet, cuz it will be useless until the concert is actually a real deal. i'm just thinking that maybe it would serve as sort of a petition thing, but in a more personal way. if i printed out 20 emails from adult fans who volunteered to "chaperone" the concert and pledged to make sure the minors don't drink or anything like that, then my parents might be a little more open to the idea of me flying from CA to the east coast w/ a bunch of strangers! lol its hard for anyone not on the list to realize how well most of us know each other just by our posts. so, this is just an idea to hold on to, and maybe use if this actually works out. Message-ID: <0.32b294c4.25510ebd@aol.com> Ok, *breathes in* here goes nothing. Normally I don't post about topics like this, but this is getting absurd. I mean, I;m not trying to get anyones hopes down, but I don't really think we're going to get anywhere with this concert thing. First of all, like many people have been saying, this will cost quite a lot of money. Speaking as someone who is under 18, I know how exceptionally difficult it is to get that much money. I also know that some people over 18 don't even think it's ok to be spending 100 dollars or more on a 90 minute concert. Also, think about the mobs! I mean, you always hear about list people trying to meet the Goos, and trying to get the very front of the concert hall, etc, etc. Well, think of it in the sense that there will be over 100 people trying to meet the Goos, and trying to get to the front of the concert hall! It will just be complete chaos! And do you really think that the Goos will like being flocked by hundreds of people? I'm sure by now we've all gotten the Rolling Stone, and have read how weird they find it to be flocked by a bunch of people. Well, I'm sorry for posting, but I just had to add in my opinion. I mean I don;t want you guys to stop talking about it, but just don't do it here! I mean, can't you set up a seperate list for that? That's what onelist is for! Come and get me! First of all - "A thousand words" is amazing. For those up front - please notice that John does not use a pic for that. Also - he changes it a little each nite. I have to say that Latrobe was probably the better show. They did cut out a few songs but John was in a great mood and even (everyone under 21 cover your eyes) drinking on stage - which caused him to have to pee - which caused him to not zip up all the way.... One of John's pics that he tossed out managed to land down my shirt. It was kind of embarrassing fishing it out while John laughed. Anyway.... I had fun with all my new friends and hope to make more in Buffalo and yes I did meet them and yes Tonic is great - please give them some love. bye SarahJane ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I asked her today to please bring it back. Not like I don't have other Goo CD's, and that's not even my favorite Goo cd, but I completely miss it. So she's gonna bring it. I've been hearing Black Balloon everywhere lately. That song is so special to me. Everytime I hear it I get chills...I always have, ever since the first time I heard it on a trailer for "Meet Joe Black." But it seems like every time I hear it it gets more and more special. That probably doesn't even make any sense, but it makes sense to me. So, that's all. I hope everyone is doing well. I miss my DUTG CD!!!! The President is me. 1) Charity Coordinators -These people need to have direct communication with our charity. They need to figure out how we make a non-profit benefit concert. After reading everyone's opinions, it looks like it is going to be the Children's Rights Association. Whoever was the vice-president of this charity, please contact me. 2) Booker -This person needs to book the band. It sounds like August and on the weekend right before school starts is the best idea. I will ultimately leave it up to this person to select the time & date. We can't be fussy. The booker needs to find out how much it will cost to get the band and then arrive at the costs of each ticket. 3) Treasurer -Official duties will include collecting the money for the tickets and the helping collect the money to pay the band. Might also be responsible for mailing out the tickets. 4) "Party" Coodinator -This person is responsible for counting the number of people that can go. This person needs to take down specific e-mail & mailing addresses. We will probably have a list made so that we don't have "party crashers". This will also help the booker determine the cost of individual tickets and where to actually have the concert. *Only Goo mailing list fans are allowed and parents, no friends. You could have a friend take your place though, if you weren't going. I want to get a pretty accurate count. 5) Fund Raiser Coordinators -These people need to find ways in which to raise money for the concert and for the charity (companies?). Money is THEE huge issue here. I'm sure we'll need refreshment stands and employees. 6) Communication Coordinators -They have constant contant with the band's team AFTER they are booked. They will be the go between the group (me) and the "band". This could involve any stage set-up, equipment, security, and technical stuff, difficulties. We need to know what the band needs to perform it the most comfortable and safe conditions. 7) Hotel/Motel Coordinator -Once the "Party" Coordinator has pretty accurately determined the number of people attending the concert, this person will be responsible for finding inexpensive boarding for the group. This includes booking rooms and possibly checking out the transportation available from the airport. We don't want a location far away from the actual venue. I don't want people spending $$$$$ for a taxi ride, gas, or even a rental car. *I need people who are extremely reliable & are dead serious about making this work. People who do not want to take part in this just need to keep quiet (Ms. Swan Lake). Ever heard the phrase, "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say it at all"? You need to respond only directly to me and NOT to the whole group. I will update the group regularly. My e-mail address: mptak@umich.edu *Also, have faith people. But, there is a strong possiblity that it won't work. It is going to cost a ton of money to get the band and all they have to do is say "no". I don't know how we are going to get the money so I'm really counting on the designated Fund Raising Coodinators that I choose to work really hard. Any other contributions from other group members are gladly welcomed and will be refered to these different head coordinators. Let's get working people!!! Thanks for the help too!!! I've never posted to the this list before and I strongly debated on whether I really should throw my two cents in now. I didn't want to add to the massive amount of email that has filled our mail boxes today ... but, I'm going to anyway ... First, while I think a private concert would be a great deal of fun I have to look at the realistic side of things. I don't want to rain on anyones parade but I've been working in the entertainment business for about 15 years now and it cost a heck of a lot to book a show. First there's the booking fee. I've booked acts that aren't anywhere near as popular as the Goos and have been surprised by some of the prices (between 7500 to 15 grand) ... I'm talking people who haven't had a hit record in years. There has been mention of doing this for charity. If that's the case the band may feel it's a worthy enough cause to wave their fee. Great ... BUT you still have to pay to get them, their side musicians, their crew and anyone else they feel they need to bring along to and from the location (I once had to buy a plane ticket for some entertainers dog ... first class!) ... sorry folks, you can't expect them to pay for this themselves. Once you've got them there, they need somewhere to stay so now you have to pay for hotel rooms for all of those people and you may also be expected to pay for some of food cost for these people. Of course all of the demands will be spelled out in their contract which whoever officially books this will be responsible for upholding. What happens if you don't uphold your end of the contract ... the band could pull out at the last minute leaving you with some cost that may not be refundable or worst case scenario, they could sue. Everyone has been talking about locations/cities to play. IMO, you should probaby come up with a date first or general idea of when because the booking agent will ask that question and also so you have somekind of a guideline to work with ... but that's just me. Now, if they're on tour when this is to take place, then you'll want to choose somewhere close to where they're playing so they don't have to go too far out of their way for the show and then have to end up traveling some obnoxious distance to get to their next gig ... and it'll be cheaper transportation wise for those picking up the cost. Once you decide on a city you have to find a venue to have this concert. If it's for charity maybe, just maybe the venue will donate the space. If not, you have to pay for that too. Even if the venue donates it's space chances are you're going to have to pay for some union guys and they don't come cheap folks. So now, you've got if they don't waive their fee, a fee, transportation, hotel and venue on top of your own transportation and hotel cost. Where is all of this money going to come from? Most acts I've worked with want at least 50% up front and even if they don't take a fee you still have to pay for everything else up front. I'd say find out how much they cost, when and if they're available and get some money together so that you have a budget to work with ... it helps if you can tell the other end 'we're doing this for charity and this is how much we have to work with.' I've seen several emails saying that if you're going to do this, it (the list messages regading this etc) should be more organized and I agree. Trying to book a show un-organized is nothing but a recipe for disaster. Well, that's my two cents. In response to this, let me add some dirt i've dug up. I had my husband talk to his booking agent last night, the band would probably run close to $75 grand to book.(and this response is correct, even if they did it for "free"---lots of other expenses would have to be incurred just for them to be there!) the pa would run(so they wouldn't have to bring their own, which they usually don't for Charity events)between $15-$25000. and that is from a "moderate" sound company. I have done many charity events for large companies before, but one thing i never had to deal with was the money up front thing...that would be a huge problem. That was always handled by the companies I worked for, so I didn't have to worry about it. You have to have a minimum of 50% down when you book the band & pay for the hall(center) up front too. This may be something the charity would spring for up front, but i'm not sure, it's a lot of money. I've worked with charities before who have sprung for the advertising, but that wasn't $50-100,000.!!!!! I feel trying to get so many different people to do all the different things is not probable. I know that I wouldn't be able to coordinate any of this unless i were in the town where the event was being held. And he said yes. Anyways, he mentioned how it takes awhile for some songs to come out in sheet music and he said he really liked DUTG. It was an awesome album. I said, yeah! I know. I love it! Wow. two times now I've ran into Goo fans with the salesclerks! Also, my best bud got DUTG from another friend of hers for her b-day. Actually, I thought of it a few days ago, but with everyone deleting at such a high rate, I thought it might get looked over. So anyway, here it is: "What do you do when you listen to the Goo Goo Dolls' music? Are there any songs or albums that you find specifically good for certain activites?" Just e-mail me (not the whole list) with your answer sometime this month. All I ask is that you don't use all caps or all lower case (I try to keep my site alphabetically and grammatically correct, and I'd like to just copy and paste). Tickets (through bass) were $20.50 + $4.35 service charge. You can also call the Visalia Convention Center Box Office and get tickets for $22 (I think that's without service charge, not sure). Their number is (559) 730-7070. Ummmmm I think that's all, but if you have any questions, you can e-mail me and I'll try my best to answer them for ya. The Goo Goo Dolls, with Robby Takac, left, and John Rzeznik, set up their own Web site. KEVIN P. CASEY / Los Angeles Times By GEOFF BOUCHER, Times Staff Writer Goo Goo Dolls may be a regrettable choice for a band name--even the members of the rock trio have admitted that--but it's apparently worth fighting for as a brand name. The group from Buffalo, N.Y., which hit it big with the song "Iris" in 1998, is now fighting its label, Warner Bros. Records, for control of the http://googoodolls.com Web site, and the feud recently prompted the band to set up a competing "official" site at http://googoodolls.org that is nearly identical in the nature of its content. That conflict is hardly unique. Metallica, the Offspring and Aerosmith have all battled their labels for online control, and Rage Against the Machine is currently wrangling with its label on a similar issue. The issue may seem like just another battlefront in the endless struggle between artists and the corporations that sell their music. But to some observers, such as Marc Geiger, co-CEO of ArtistDirect, the quest to control Web sites is far more than a skirmish. "It's quite simply the single most important issue on the landscape today," said Geiger, whose company creates online stores for artists such as the Rolling Stones and Limp Bizkit. "The stuff that goes through the site--the music, the tickets, the advertising--that's the oil going through the pipe, but what's important is who owns the pipeline." Others compare Web site content to a hit television show, while the Web site itself is akin to the far more valuable network that airs that show. So, not surprisingly, across the music industry the ownership of artist-named Web sites has become a contentious issue as major powers such as Warner and Sony make a concerted effort to scoop up the valuable virtual real estate known as URLs--which stands for Uniform Resource Locater, the "address" of Internet sites. "The last month or so, these two companies have really started focusing on taking all URLs," said Peter Paterno, an attorney who represents the Goo Goo Dolls, the Offspring and Dr. Dre. "Why are they doing it? When you worry, you grab up everything." The worry of the record companies, according to Paterno and other industry insiders, is that the Web sites bearing the names of artists will become central hubs of music commerce in the years to come. Albums, concert tickets, T-shirts and all the other revenue sources of the music machine will be increasingly sold through Web sites, and that does not even include the Holy Grail of the great online music enterprise: the digital download of music, which promises to shift a huge chunk of future music sales from record stores to modems. The Web site value is more than potential, too. There is already its powerful lure as a marketing tool. The fans who keep track of their favorite bands online also can be potentially tracked themselves, creating huge mailing lists and instant taste barometers that make record companies salivate. The artists, meanwhile, see the Web sites as intensely personal creations and a direct link to their fans that might be despoiled by a pushy record company taking over the reins. Both sides of the dispute are visible in clear relief to Gary Gersh, the former president of Capitol Records who is now co-manager of Beck, the Foo Fighters and Beastie Boys. "I think for a long time the labels viewed the Web sites as fan clubs, they didn't view them as retail stores and for their real value," Gersh said. "The value is that it's a direct connection with the audience. . . . The content on the page has to be in keeping with the language and sensibilities that the audience expects and wants to see. It's extremely important." How important? Well, when Marilyn Manson was beset by criticism following the Columbine high school shooting, he responded with a statement on his Web site. When members of Morphine and Blues Traveler died in the past year, both bands quickly posted messages on their Web sites to reach out to fans. And acts such as the Offspring keep updated journals on their sites to foster a rapport with fans. The Band's Name Is the Brand Name To the record labels, however, all of that suggests exactly why the Web sites need to be in their hands. And because fans generally don't know what label puts out a band's albums, the artist's name is the one fans will search for online, making it the brand name that matters. "Our job is to promote these artists globally, to shape their images and do all the work that gets their music heard," said a Sony executive. "We'd be remiss if we didn't use this tool. And we also spend a lot of money on these sites, and we have to be able to control that investment, frankly." A Sony spokeswoman said the company does not comment on artist contracts or their content. But executives within the company confirmed that Web site ownership has become a clear priority of the corporate giant in its dealings with acts, although those sources differed in their estimation of how strident the company's stance has become. Likewise, a Warner spokesman said the company would not comment on the Goo Goo Dolls situation or other contract skirmishes. Privately, though, Warner executives point out that the company created and maintains the Dolls' site and--echoing the Sony executive's point--the company is loathe to walk away from that investment at the whim of the act. Acts of Wry and Sly Internet Revenge Managers and attorneys for artists say Sony has a new "zero tolerance" policy for new bands signed: Give up the Web site rights, or no contract. But the experience of a new act, Crazy Town, signed to Sony's Columbia Records, suggests that is an overstatement, if not by much. Crazy Town's debut album, "Gift of Game," comes out Tuesday, but because the young band refused to cede its Web site to its new label, Columbia barred the group from advertising its site on the album's artwork. So the band hastily added a 55-second song to the album that repeats the title over and over. What's it called? "Crazytown.com" of course. That's not the only quirky subplot of the roiling dispute. The industry is abuzz with word that the manager of a major band seeking wry revenge has reportedly registered Web site addresses bearing the names of Warner executives--but the manager did not return calls and it could not be verified at press time that he actually reserved those sites. Paterno predicts that the issue will resolve itself in the years to come much the same way merchandising, ownership of master recording and setting artist royalty rates became empowerment issues for established artists in past years. The record companies may wrest away Web sites from new acts, but as those artists become commercial successes they'll likely win back their online names in renegotiation. In the meantime, Paterno, who also represents Metallica, had a half-joking warning for record companies. "You try to take Metallica.com, you'll get a lawsuit." --------------20E68693560B6604B8665C07-- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 04 Nov 1999 04:53:29 PST To: goo@mailinglists.org From: "Traci Bedard" Subject: New pics up @ GGD's official site/Seattle gig/List Concert Message-ID: <19991104125330.52259.qmail@hotmail.com> Well ppl, my worst fears came to life regarding the Seattle show...it's a no go *sigh* What is up w/ this sh*#...first Aerosmith, the Lenny, now this!...are they all afraid to get radiaton poisening or something??? C'mon Mikey, if that guy from Def Leppard can play with one arm...so can you! (lol) ...just a lil' humor to perk up a very dismal day. Ah well, maybe they guys will get in a lil' more R&R and family time b/f the holidays kick in...guess that's a positive way to look at it...even though it may be a good 2...3 yrs b/f I get to see them in concert again...and to think, I thought 'Fraiser' would do us wonders! Cest La` Vie! I've been visiting the *New*, *Improved*, and *Official* GGD's site daily to see when they will get pics in from thier recent tour, and today I finally saw them up! ;-) ...Johnny, oh Johnny, why must you be so hot *insert sizzle sound here* (lol) ...*insert French accent here* it's bad enough that you make such beautiful music and are a laugh a minute...now you must tempt us with your bulging biceps, pouty lips, and *come hither* eyes...Mwa! Mwa! Mwa!...What do you say we go to the casba and make beautiful music together, ay? Mwa! Mwa! Mwa! *insert laughing here* Ok, and regarding this List Concert...I think it's a great idea...as a matter of fact, Jen 'Rzeznik' and I were chatting about the very same idea a cpl monthes back...about 'renting' the Goos persay...lol...then she mentioned (in all seriousness) that it would be cool to have a charity concert w/ the Goos and all thier biggest fans would attend. Not trying to take credit for someone eles's idea, mind you, just want you guys to realize this has been on my mind for quite some time now. It's easy to come up with these things when you're deprived of Goo as we are...even thinking of starting a club called 'Gooless in Seattle' (still working out the kinks though) I also posted to the list about it, but it was during a time when I was changing e-mail accounts and it got lost in the process...never made it to the list...I will try to see if I can dig it up somewhere though...we came up with some good ideas from what I remember....Anyhow, b/f jumping the gun (all the IMpossablities creep into your mind after a short time) what you have to realize is that you would need a substantial amount of ppl to attend this thing on a 'for sure' basis...and although what looks to be 'a lot' of ppl responding, is acctually this... Ok, about 200 posts were in my mailbox yesterday; About 50 of them were from the person who initially posted on this topic...(1+...) Approx. 25 were ppl who posted at least twice...(1+25) Let's see, about another 25 or so were topics having nothing to do with this...(1+25+0) Another 25 were from teenagers who WANTED to be able to go, but knew it was nearly impossible (school, $, parents)...(1+25+0+0) I'd say another 25 were ppl that would go if it were in an area, say, generally close to them...and/or would travel, but of course, it might conflict with OTHER things going on in that persons life at that time (ie. family reunion, no funds, b/f won't let me go, new job-can't get the time off...blah, blah, blah...)...(1+25+0+0+oh, let's say 12 ;-) Ok, (and I'm being generous here), that leaves about oh, say 75 ppl from the list that would be able and willing to attend this concert...Let's add on a good 75 pressuming each person brings someone else along. Let's say this thing will cost a good 75,000 to put on (again, being generous)...that leaves each person having to pay out (for tickets alone) $500...and that's not even $ that will be going to the charities!!! So, are ya'll willing to pay this? CAN you pay this??? Furthermore, if someone wants to present this 'idea' to some bigwhig, it's gonna have to be more than just an 'idea'...it'll have to be a 'presestation' one that will take much time and effort to put together...and if you you could get past the door to that vast office in the sky, consider this, he'll only say 'no' once...Anyone have time for a temporary job that doesn't pay...hmmmn...any takers? I don't know about you guys, but as much intention I have into wanting to make this thing work, I barely have time to sift through my e-mail on a daily basis. As for this taking place next year, well, there's no doubt...I'm not an expert, but I'm willing to bet it would take a few monthes time to get this thing rolling, on top of having to fit around they're allready hectic scedule...for crist's sake, John and Robby only have 5 spare minutes to call and talk to radio stations anymore, b/f being hauled off to the next person in line! As for not being able to take friends??? Well, that idea or 'rule' I should say, would have to be scrapped from the get go...for obvious reasons. One very important element to this is he Goos themselves...First off, do they even WANT to do this...even if it were for charity? Lord knows they've allready been as charitable as charitable can be in the last year. My thoughts are that they would feel obligated, but still not do it for the sake that it would ultimately be for 'us' and not for 'them'...as good as they're intentions are. Heck, they're even pissed that they don't have control over thier own website, and I can't say I blame them...esp. after the bullshit they've been through allready. If at all, this would have to benefit THEM in some way, even if not directly finacial. Here is what I propose...A concert like this would first off have to be of great magnitude...even if the 500+ ppl on the list were to get involved, it wouldn't be enough I think. A thousand, maybe...2000, perhaps, 3000, now you're talkin'...but are there really THAT many die-hard fans out there? Hmmn, hard to say, but I do know this...many of you have websites set up for the Goos...what if each of you were to 'advertise' this deal on your website...it's sure to catch your eye...esp. since it has (that I know of) never been done b/f...You would of course have to get the big dogs to approve...Fay, Alex, Joe...Ok, now let's say you get 2,000 *definate* responses (adding on those who will bring others with them) then you're next step would be to contact the Goos directly (cuss if you really care about them, you'll care what they think, NOT some WB headhunter) and pose it in a way such as, this will be good for publicity...*BOOM*, that't it! PUBLICITY!!!! That's the magic word...the be all and end all in the entertainment industry...how could you guys leave this very important element out??? I have a feeling this would be a hot topic in the news sector and once MTV, VH1, Entertainment Tonight, the E! channel, Much Music, and what the hell!!!...Headline News gets a hold of it, word wll spread like fire in President Clinton's pants! Hoping what will happen next will be a barrage of companies who want to donate space, efforts, and above all...MONEY *cha-ching!* so that THEY may be part of the spectacle. Let me take you to the Backyard BBQ...Outback ring a bell? Once a lot of companies join the band-wagon, they'll be much less worrying to do and maybe we could get back to deciding what airline to take a hotel to stay in (discount group rate of course...anybody here have hotel connections?) I don't know how many ppl are familiar with the band Phish, but they have a rather devoted fan following...and I only know this...and of the band...because of a piece that was done on them and thier 'cult' like following...I can't say it made me want to go out and buy thier album and what not...but it did put a lasting impression in my mind...much the same way fans of Grateful Dead did. Now, the Goos are a great band who really don't need that much publicity, but they are a band who needs to change a lot of ppl's minds...look around you at concerts and what do you see???...a bunch of women (or men w/ thier g/f's)...lol...sad, but true. Although that 70% satistic seems to be dwindling, many men think that what they hear on the radio is gonna be what they hear at a concert and that's just not the case...the Goos rock! If more ppl just took the chance to see them, it would change a lot of ppl's minds...it did w/ everyone *I've* taken to a Goo concert...but you have to give ppl motivation to do so...and hey, who doesn't like to follow a crowd?! Limp *cough* Bizkit *cough* ...need I say more. Accept, in this case, it would make much more sense ;-) Two other small things to mention right quick...One, this would DEF. have to take place in the summer when school is out and it's easier to travel (and cheeper)...and I vote for Chicago...although I live in Wa State and it would be a ways to go...I know it's closer to MOST fans and also is a major hub for airline flights...so I would assume it would take the headache out of connecting flights and lay-overs...for MOST ppl anyways. Also, I v'e read that's the guys fave, place to play...next to home of course ;-) So b/f you start electing your Presidents and Vice Presidents and so on and so forth...think in realistic terms, take one step at a time...and just like the guys say, "Don't fall asleep to dream" ;-) Onward! *THEN* you can take your leaps and bounds! ~Forever Goo~ Traci ;-) sharing with us what he knows shining eyes are big and blue and all around him water flows this world to him is new to touch his face to kiss a smile new eyes see no race the essence of a child... he's born to shimmer, he's born to shine he's born to radiate he's born to live, he's born to love but we'll teach him how to hate... but time I cannot change so here's to looking back you know I drink a whole bottle of my pride and I toast to change...to keep these demons off my back...just get these demons of my back... cause' I want to shimmer, I want to shine, I want to radiate...I want to live, I want to love, I want to try to learn not to hate... we're born to shimmer, we're born to shine, we're born to radiate...we're born to live, we're born to love...we're born to never hate Shawn Mullins "Shimmer" °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° It's better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what your not. ~Author Unknown Do you listen to yourself Never live for someone else Do you like the way you feel Nothing hurts when no one's real ~Johnny Rzeznik~ "That bastard!" This is Judy from Hoffman Estates, Il. It's a suburb of Chicago. If the site for the concert were to be here, I have hotel & venue connections. I also have the time to spare to work on this. Just tell me what you want me to do. I have some ideas of my own. Could someone involved email me another address so I don't have to send this info to the entire list!! Traci in Seattle went through a count of the amount of list ppl & she seemed to think there were (in all reality) not going to be enough ppl able to go to make it an economical venture. Why not think about a smaller, more intimate gathering. It doesn't have to be a huge blow-out. There are smaller places that don't cost as much & are easier to book. Just a thought. The truth is Billy D. Rieser is telling tales. As much as I wish it had, it didnt happen. Billy was just trying to get me back (again). Shame on him. Everyone should tell him what a meanie beanie trick that was! Here is his email address so you can tell him what a rotten goo he is. breiser@monroe.lib.mi.us If you prefer "real time" scolding you can IM him. His AOL Instant Messanger name is CIRCZAR. t. The treasurer is going to be: Jennifer JENCBUS@aol.com (she is a certified public accountant) For party coordinators I'm definitely have: HoldMeUp@webtv.net GooGirl333@hotmail.com For the hotel booker it looks like I'm going to wait until I know that this concert is actually going to happen. An goodidea has been presented to me, that is might be good to have the concert in a large hotel or a hall to make the whole thing a little smaller, harder to get into, and cheaper. I've already had someone offer a free venue location, but I'm not sure of the spot yet. With the charity, it looks like we might have to change it from the Children's Rights Association to something that is nationally known. This is a local charity in New Jersey and I'm not sure if the concert will actually be there or not. I think we need a bigger charity who will have big sponsers to help fund us. Anybody with fund raiser ideas please e-mail me!!!! Anybody with charity ideas e-mail me. Fund raising is VERY IMPORTANT!!! Money is a big issue folks. Any general questions please e-mail me also.
